Chapitre 116: Chapter 116

On their way to the Pokémon Dojo, the group passed by the Southern District's Pokémon Center, and both Sabrina and Aizen decided to switch Pokémon to make space for Machamp and Machoke.

Misty did the same as she switched out her Onix for her Poliwrath, intending to challenge the Dojo with her Fighting Pokemon.

Leaf was the only one who did not have a Fighting-Type Pokémon, so, she felt that she could not challenge the Dojo.

"Don't worry. You can borrow any of the Dojo's Pokémon for the challenge. All Pokémon we have are meticulously trained. They are all very experienced and friendly." Terri informed her when she expressed her thoughts.

"Awesome!"

As soon as they entered the Fighting Dojo, they were surprised at the vastness of the compound.

There were a lot of young Trainers wearing their Martial Arts outfits, training under the sun, and by their side, their Fighting Pokemon were training as well.

"If you train together with your Fighting Pokémon, it raises their morale, and it also strengthens your bond," Terri informed them, and Leaf and Misty nodded their heads in understanding.

"Do we have to change too?" The girl from Pallet Town asked when she did not spot a single person in regular clothes.

Everyone was wearing their white and black Martial Arts outfits, and the red-haired girl nodded her head in an answer.

"Yes. People can purchase the uniforms from the store inside. Or you can rent them."

"I am not wearing anything that has already been worn." Misty immediately shook her head, making the girls giggle.

Once inside the building, they quickly bought their uniforms and then entered the dressing rooms to get changed.

A while later, everyone grouped up in the main hall, where lots of people were sitting, and by their side, their Pokémon were sitting as well.

In the centre of the hall, inside the marked circle, a tall muscular man, who was wearing a red headband on his forehead, was giving a lesson to all the students.

Aizen and the girls silently found a corner and sat down, listening to the man, and behind them, Machamp, Machoke, and Poliwrath took their seats.

The three Pokémon curiously looked at all the other Pokémon in the room, and soon, they were brimming with a fighting spirit.

Koichi finished his lesson, and then the other Masters behind him stepped forward to take challenges from any willing students.

This was not a Pokémon Battle, but a fight between two people, and a few young ones braved themselves to test their abilities and to learn.

Terri informed the group that if someone ever manages to beat her Father, who was the Master of this Dojo, in a fight, then they would be rewarded with a random Pokémon Egg.

"Fighting-Type Pokemon?"

"Not necessarily." Terri shook her head. "We have a lot of Trainers affiliated with our Dojo, alumni as well, whom we sponsored during their first journeys. A lot of them send over Eggs of their Pokemon from time to time, hoping that they will be passed down to some strong individuals and aspiring Trainers hailing from our Dojo. Usually, these Eggs are reserved for the Graduates of the Dojo, who obtain the Black Belt, but if someone challenges the Dojo Master and defeats him, provided that they are young and a Pokémon Trainer, even if they don't belong to the Dojo, they win a random Egg."

"Who picks the Egg?"

"You do." Terri smiled. "You will be led to the Egg Nursery, and all the Eggs will be covered with a black cloth. And then Father will ask you to make a pick without knowing anything about that Egg."

"That's fun!" Anira brightly said, but Leaf was frowning.

"Has anyone ever defeated your Father to claim an Egg?"

"No." Terri proudly grinned. "But my Father and Uncle Glenn both defeated Master Hamm to claim their Eggs. They were rivals and had not yet graduated at that time. Uncle Cyrus won against Master Hamm too, and he's just as good as my father. They often spar here on weekends." She informed the. "Uncle Cyrus won an Egg too when he was heading out on his Pokémon Journey, and we were also expecting Sabrina to follow his footsteps. However, she chose to have a Pokémon Battle."

"I didn't know how to fight." The Moonheart clarified, and Terri understandingly nodded her head.

"Machamp seems so powerful now. How about a spar later? My Hitmontop has grown strong since you last saw him." She challenged, and Sabrina just nodded her head.

"Brother, you should challenge the Dojo Master and win the Egg." Anira suddenly said something that caught their attention, and they curiously looked at Aizen.

"No."

"Come on! It will be fun!" The Princess insisted, but he just shook his head.

Terri was about to smile when she heard Aizen's refusal, but her eyes narrowed at him after what he said next.

"It's not fair to him, Anira. You know that." He lightly said.

"You think you can defeat my father in a fight?" The red-haired girl seemed a little irritated, and to add fuel to the fire, the Orayen Princess giggled.

"Of course, he can. My brother and I have been trained to kill." She grinned, and where Terri rolled her eyes, taking her words as a joke, Aizen disapprovingly looked at his sister, who was being playful again.

Anira stuck her tongue at him, and before he could clarify things to the Redhead, it was already too late.

"Let's see how good you are," Terri said and immediately stood up to walk towards her father.

As the Orayen Prince watched her say something to the new Dojo Master, which made the man turn to look his way, he sighed in his heart.

"Do you know how to fight?" Leaf curiously asked.

Yes, she had seen him fight against Wartortle all those months ago. But that was where he was using his Aura and Psychic Powers. Now that she thought about it, she had never seen him practice or showcase his hand-to-hand combat capabilities.

"Yes. I know how to fight." He nodded to her. "The Aura Users start their combat training from their early years, especially in Royal Families. We don't have the growth issues like other people, so, training at an early age is not detrimental to our development. In fact, it is very beneficial for us."

"Oh." Her eyes widened in surprise. "Were you really trained to kill?" She whispered the question and was even more surprised when she saw him nod his head.

"Anira too finished her training. She would have not been allowed to come with me if she had not passed the test." He smiled at his little sister, who was brightly smiling at him.

"Don't give away my secrets!" She playfully said as soon as her friends looked at her in shock.

"You should heed to your own words." He nudged her nose and then stood up to walk towards the centre, where Koichi was about to call him out.

"Do you know how to fight, Young Man?" The Dojo Master scrutinised his posture, and then politely asked the question.

"I do, Sir." He nodded.

"And you are Sabrina's Fiancé?" He curiously raised his brow, and seeing Aizen nod again, he smiled. "Let's see how good you are."

Soon, the two of them stood inside a circle with a radius of 5 metres, and the rules were clarified to him.

The first two ways to win the fight were either to force your opponent to submit or by throwing or pushing them out of the circle. And of course, the third way was the knockout.

There were certain rules too, which forbid attacking at the back of the head, on the neck, and in the groin region. If the opponent fell and was trying to get up, you were either supposed to wait for them to get up or could proceed to execute a submission. Attacking a fallen opponent on the head was forbidden, but body-shots were acceptable.

Once the rules were clear to him, Terri raised her hand and signalled them to begin the fight.

Straight off, Koichi came rushing at him with a flurry of kicks, forcing him to block with his arms and legs.

The man really had a good technique and the way he covered all his openings even whilst attacking, was commendable.

However, unfortunately for him, Aizen was an Aura User.

This fight was never going to be fair.

Aura Users were physically superior in terms of endurance, strength, and constitution. Their senses were much sharper as well, and this led to them possessing very quick reflexes.

Terri and the Teachers at the Dojo were surprised at how deftly the young boy was defending against Koichi, and by the looks of the things, their Dojo Master was not even making him sweat.

Koichi too was dismayed at what was happening, but he kept his focus on the fight.

Seeing that he could not force an opening, he momentarily decided to pull back, but it was the biggest mistake that he could make.

No longer being forced to defend, Aizen rushed forward and showed his flexibility as he narrowly passed a kick headed for his head by twisting his body and getting behind his opponent.

Koichi tried to elbow him in alarm but received one right in his own ribs, which made him wince in pain. Then, in the blink of an eye, he found his head and right arm locked as Aizen climbed over him, which forced him to his knees.

Within seconds, he was desperate to breathe as his neck was being choked.

His vision briefly blanked, but his mind was still active, and he did not waste time and tapped out when he sensed the dangerous pull on his arm, which would have soon dislocated his shoulder.

Koichi was immensely relieved when Aizen immediately let go of him, and this allowed him to suck in some air.

"Yay!" Only a girl's excited voice sounded out in the hall when the result was clear, but then everyone started applauding what they had just witnessed.

Some more cheers rose from both people and the Pokémon, and Koichi glanced at the platinum-haired boy, who politely bowed to the praise, graciously accepting it.

Now that he could finally think clearly, he too could not help but appreciate the cleverness of his opponent.

He had used his elbow to hit him in the ribs, forcing him to exhale the air in his lungs, and without wasting any time, he executed a submission, choking him, and leaving him searching for oxygen.

It was clear to him that the boy was well-trained, and he was not trained to take Fighting as a sport but to kill.

"You're good, Boy." He laughed when Aizen offered him a hand and pulled him up on his feet.

"Thank you."
