Please, enlighten me," Ruby said with a feigned smile on her face. Her green eyes remained cold and direct. But her small mouth stretched into a small smile that was obviously plastic.

The Midnight Brother who spoke turned to look at Gudea. It was his turn to answer the complicated question the queen just asked. The man even took some steps backward, as if giving Gudea the floor to go ahead with the response.
