Chapitre 252: Growing Feelings

"I have something to tell you, Seth," Ruby said as she twirled her finger on his bare chest. She was deep in thoughts and had not uttered a word for the past fifteen minutes. She knew that Seth was beginning to doze off -- something that Ruby had observed that happened mainly when she laid beside him.

She could not help but remember when Seth had told her that he found real peace whenever she was in his arms. 

Now, while she lay spooned in his arms, Ruby could finally understand what he had meant by that statement.

Only a while ago, Seth had walked into their shared chambers with a disturbed look on his face. Ruby could see it -- it was glaring that something had happened from wherever he had been to. And she knew that he had diverted her attention from wanting to know what disturbed him so by kissing her.
