What was it that sounded so familiar? What was it?

"What are you thinking about, old man?" Seth asked. "If you were in a real fight and you had zoned out like that, you would have been Dead Meat Mabon..." Seth said with a chuckle.

A sound of liquid dripping caught his attention and Seth looked down towards the direction of the sound. His blood had formed a little pool at his feet.

"You're hurt," Ruby called. "Allow me tend to that."

"Oh... you do not have to worry yourself. It is just a scratch and it will heal," Seth replied to her.

"Your mother..." Commander Mabon said.

Seth looked up at him wondering why the man was still standing there to begin with. Hadn't they finished their little discussion? Hadn't he heard the truth and gotten the rage out of his system? What was it he wanted to go on about now?

"Yes? I have a mother... are you surprised about that?"
