After what Thress had done to Mabli that night, he felt a sense of calm and slept deeply. He hadn't had such a night of sleep in a very long time. It was as if he had emptied himself of some burden.

After he was done with Mabli, he told her in a very raspy voice as he panted and heaved. The energy he had used to whip her was great and even Thress was surprised that the girl could still walk even after he had his way with her.

And Thess liked it rough.

Mabli's body was numb as she bent down shakily to pick up her clothes from the floor. There were bloodstains on the sheets and the room reeked of his sweat. Her mouth was full of the taste of her tear and the iron taste of her blood.

Her scalp stung because of the way her hair had been pulled. Mabli was surprised that she couldn't see her hair lying around. She expected that some of her hair would have come off her scalp with how the maniac kept pulling and twisting it around his fist.
