Chapitre 92: even before Brady

AUBREY STARES WIDE EYED AT THE MAN FLAPPING HIS ARMS AROUND IN THE POOL. She stands there with her mouth open in shock, feeling the temperature rise in the swimming area. Usually, her workplace is freezing cold because of the many pools they have around but the rise in temperature is just proof that Kai has really come to see her after two weeks.

"Why are you standing there looking so shocked?" The dim blue glow of the swimming pool makes his smirk seen by Aubrey. "You should have expected to see me here."

She stays quiet, slowly growing angry at the sight. The last time she saw him was at the big city and that night he had killed about a quarter of the whole population and it went all over the news, but the saddest thing is that they painted the bridge collapsing as an accident and the death of people in the streets as a plague that is soon to happen. It all disgusts Aubrey since she knows the truth of what really happened that night.
