'It has been about a week or so since I woke up after my recent class up. Nothing interesting has happened aside from me making the fitfth floor into an actual floor and making a room for myself. I made it so you could only access it from the fourth floor. You need to clear a large room of orcs that all have heavy armor while completing the puzzle and solving the riddle.'
'I made it this hard so that only I could enter as the robots don't attack me and the riddle I made is rather easy since the awnser is just my name. So only people I know can enter.'
'Along with editing I have found out something quite peculiar. The robots seem to have Intelligence. Not the stat points in the system but more like actual Intelligence. They bow their head the moment they see me and I have seen some of the goblins and kobolds 'talk' about strategy.'
'They seem to have gained Intelligence when I classed up. They are scaled to my level and as I am now the Dungeon Lord of this place it seems that the level cap of the dungeon is adjusted to the lords level.'
'An interesting system. Sadly killing the robots here no longer grants any experience points so I really have no point in killing any more of the robots. Especially if they are good at keeping the annoying adventurers out.'
'There have been a few raid attempts but the latest traps that I have installed work wonders.'
'One of my favorites is a bunch of small turrets that stick out of a wall if a robot and a human are fighting near it. The turrets form a wall of strong blue electrical currents that moves towards the fighting location, pushing the intruders into a corner while they try to defend against a strengthened robotic orc, the wall powers up the robots but can be fatal to humans if they do not have a lightning mage.'
'A wonder of technology that I have made. I have to say that I am a little proud of myself for that one. It took me a day or two to complete the blueprint without it having any major bugs of errors.'
'Anyway on to the best part.'
"My room is finally done!"
Mizuki jumped on her soft bed she had made with [Create]. It was extremely soft but for some reason the pillow on the bed was not as soft as her hair.
'This should be nearly impossible. From the moment I came to this world I have never even taken a shower so how can my scientifically perfect pillow be worse than my literally unwashed hair.'
A slight glow started to emanate from Mizukis eyes as she got more curious.
"God dammit my title activated again."
When Mizuki said this the light in her eyes dimmed back to normal.
"What a troublesome passive."
Along with the completion of her bedroom Mizuki had also made a sort of testing area next to her bedroom, connected by extremely hard double doors.
"I guess I have relaxed enough for now. Time to finally test out my magic."
Her eyes sparkled as she thought about using magic.
"My control should be at the very least, rudimentary because I can use the [Dome of Hell] spell without any problems and my control over the kinesis type of abilities was pretty good in my opinion."
As she stepped into the testing chamber she quickly made the table that Shiro had sat at when she first met her and started to experiment.
"Let's do this." she said with a gleaming smile.
...
"F*ck this piece of s*it garbage sucking an an*s in a barn of donkeys!"
Mizuki was a little angry as she has yet to be able to cast a single spell.
"I can not use magic as I did with kinesis as those did not require any sort of medium to activate. You just used your imagination to make what you want out of what type of kinesis that you have. But magic is different."
Mizuki started to recount everything she has learned from the past two days of experiments.
"Magic needs a conductor. A wand or whatever is not enough. You can have a 'pen' but that won't make you able to 'write'. What I need is the knowledge on the 'language'. It does not matter how much 'ink' I have at hand if I don't even know the most basic of 'letters'. How am I supposed to write a word if I don't even know a single letter of the alphabet?!"
Mizuki was clearly annoyed. Her skill made her learn many times faster than a normal genius but if no material is given to learn from or take referance from then even a million geniuses could not make their own 'language'.
"What a bother.."
"Wait a minute. Now that I think about it didn't that woman speak english?"
"It's good to know that I can speak to people if I were to ever leave but.. no, wait there has to be a clue here somewhere."
Mizukis gears started turning as she was on the verge of finding what she needed.
"If I do not know a single 'letter' needed to make a 'word' then why don't I just, 'speak'?"
Mizuki flowed her mana into her throat and spoke.
"<Fire>"
A strange language came out of her mouth as a flame appeared infront of her face.
Taking a look at her current MP count she smiled.
"It took mana. A word from a language I have never heard of before came out of my mouth unknowingly."
"So this is chanting? Hmm~ my skill description said that I do not need to chant but that can wait for now. If I can translate this language I might just be able to make the 'conductor' and make a sort of 'sentance' out of it."
Experimenting for a while she had found a way to see the 'word' meaning fire.
"If I focus my intent on a piece of paper and say the word out loud while infusing it with mana the word is imprinted on the paper as if it were a magic scroll of sorts."
"So if I do this with every word I can desipher the entire 'language'. Hehehe I'm feeling a little curious as to what happens next."
A glow appeared in her eyes as she started the testing.
...
After two weeks of straight research with the occasional nap she had decoded the entire 'language'.
When she had finally done this a notification appeared but she ignored it. It was the umfteenth one and she stopped looking at them after a while.
"Now that the language is completely desiphered why don't I try to make a 'sentance'."
During the entire research project the grin had never left her face as she now smiled brightly at the possibility of finally being able to use magic.
She stood up, moved a mountain of paper to the corner of the room and constructed her very first magic circle.
'If I use the translated words to create a sentance it might take the effect of a spell.'
Stringing together some words she looked her magic circle over once more before activation.
'So the skill does not lie. It looks to be almost instant when I pick the words or should I say runes that go into the magic circle.'
A redish orange magic circle floated infront of Mizuki.
'It did take a while to complete it. About 3 seconds? In the context of a fight that time could be fatal. I should reduce the time needed.'
If translated the 'sentance' would be as long as an english exams paragraph. It would be a miracle for her to make it in under 5 days nevermind 5 seconds. This only went to show how capable Mizuki really is when given the time.
The basic meaning of the magic circle, if watered down to an extreme degree would be a three word sentance 'Fall of Fire'. It could be in the realm of tier 5 or possibly higher if Mizukis elemental affinity was higher but her fire affinity was still at 3 so the three circled or rather three worded spell was the best she could do at the time.
As she double checked for any mistakes and saw none she activated the spell.
Nothing happened.
"Hmm~ a failure. This also happened when I tried the same type of spell with the lightning and water elements. Maybe this type of spell is faulty? Or maybe my control is not high enough."
Little did she know that those three spells that she had cast, had made the entirety of the surroundings of the dungeon into a barren wasteland.
In one corner of this wasteland was a neverending thunderstorm, in another there was a huge lake that had rainclouds above it with a nonstop flood of rain and in the newest corner there was a hellish landscape of fire and brimstone.
Meanwhile in the capital of Earlhighm.
"Lin, I think we are cursed." said Ronald with a serious look in his eyes.
"W-huh? Why do you say that?" said Lin in confusion.
"Check the last page." he said while passing him the newspaper.
The moment Lin read this he paled.
"I think we should inform Sam of our newly aquired curse."
"Yes. Yes we should."
...
Back at the dungeon Mizuki headed back to her room with a slight frown as she did not know of the reason why those three spells did not spark any reaction.
Suddenly a red light started to blink on and off infront of the door to her bedroom.
"They're trying another raid here? Really? But I made a boss just for the people that cleared the forth floor. Ofcourse they don't get anything for it but shouldn't the experience of fighting a robotic dragon be enough?"
She said with a slight sigh of dissapointment as she sat down at her desk and opened a few flying light blue camera screens that showed the outside of her room. The puzzle room was being raided again.
'What a bother. There really isn't any secret treasure here ya know.'
