Scarlett was beyond angry but she couldn't lash out. It would not help her case. She bowed her head with great reluctance and went into the room to start doing as she'd ordered. 

She decided to first pick up the broken glasses to make sure she met Clarissa's first requirement. Although it was not yet close to the time for the evening dinner, she wanted to get that out of the way. 

As she bent to pick up the glasses with hate burning deep within her for Clarissa, she wished she could stab her with the glasses and dump her body somewhere no one could ever find her.
