~~~(POV: Scott Autumn)~~~
~~~(location: Immortalitas)~~~
The Genesis Dimension is beyond what any science knows in The Aeternus Universe. The Primordium Drives have proved their superiority, and my mind is already racing.
Coming up with new designs for ships with all that I've learned, and my focus shifts to another matter. I've still not built my own custom Mech suit.
Aurora pops up in the hologram terminal next to me. She places her hands on her hips and leans to one side.
"We should be arriving at Primordium Prime in the next few minutes, and when we do, don't worry about anything."
She's talking about how the Primordium machines will react to me. A Primordium coming home after all this time.
Immortalitas knew I was coming long before I even arrived on Heroor. Assuming the same thing for Primordium Prime is a safe bet.
"Do you know the state Impyra Galaxy is in by any chance?"
Aurora has access to the Intergalactic network, and she knows what's going on far better than I. While I can make theories and hypotheses, she has the information to give a legitimate answer.
She snaps her fingers, and a panel lights up in front of me, showing the many reports coming out about the Parasite.
My eyes land on what I need. Impyra has been successfully quarantined. That's good news, but I doubt The Primeval Inherent will be bound to the Impyra Galaxy for long. His intelligence far surpasses everyone else.
Based on how the Parasite works, the hivemind is the most intelligent thing alive at the moment. Making Aurora and I look like idiots in comparison.
"The governments from many galaxies have banded together, but it won't hold the Parasite back for long. Nothing ever does."
She knows what I know in this situation. All the players in Impyra have probably been relocated.
Meaning the system is making them spawn in a different galaxy if they've died to the Parasite. A loophole that can be used against the plague... The Players will die, and their bodies disappear, only to respawn later... A perfect weapon against the Parasite...
"What do you think about The Players..."
Aurora immediately knows what I'm referring to.
She adopts a thinking look, and the AI is running through simulations and information in her own routines and systems.
"You have the right idea, but once the Parasite grows out of control, nothing will stop it. Not even the abilities to respawn and immortality that Players have."
Yes... She's right... Once out of control, nothing will stop it...
The Primordium did so by insane measures, and I don't blame them.
"Are there any weapons on Primordium Prime that might help us in our fight... We're inevitably going to face The Primeval Inherent and the Parasite."
She might have information on what's on Primordium Prime, but The Primordium might've limited her knowledge.
She shakes her head a single time, confirming that she doesn't know.
"The Primordium created me for the single purpose of waiting for you and helping you. In whatever endeavor you're in. They only gave me what I needed to do that and nothing else."
Makes sense, and while it's inconvenient for us now, it was a wise choice.
~~~(POV: Dr. Emile Hamlton)~~~
~~~(Location: Techese Galaxy, Deep Core, Main Chain World Kelromera)~~~
The ship lands with a rough thud, and my entire body shakes, and the Starship slowly dies to a quiet mess of metal.
Jailbreaking the ship to serve my purpose of escaping the quarantine caused the engines and systems to burn out. Luckily, I made it here alive. Kelromera, my homeworld.
Finally, somewhere safe and away from that Parasite.
My entire family knows that I've landed, and they're probably on their way to pick me up. Kelromera and Techese Galaxy is unique in that Teller-Bravo is banned from ever entering. Meaning it's safer for me to be here than anywhere else.
I exit the ship and take a deep breath of the fresh air. Kelromera is a jungle world, with lush forests and clear unpolluted wildlife.
It's one of the more popular places to take a vacation in the Techese Galaxy. My sympathies go out to all the people trapped in the Impyra Galaxy, but that isn't my problem anymore.
"Sweetie!!"
My mother's voice reaches out to gain my attention, and I turn to see her and my father rushing toward me. She leaps into my arms. She probably saw the emergency I sent out.
