I jolt up from the couch, and I dart my eyes around the living room. Jessica is sleeping on the other side of the couch, fully clothed. It was a dream. I look at Jess, and her skin is flushed just like when she was releasing the pheromones, they must have caused that dream. I reach into my pants and fix the painful position my rod is in. I sit up and rub my face. She must be dreaming something to cause the pheromones to release. I dozed off on the couch, and she must have joined me.
She must be dreaming about what I was, at least close to it. I look at her better and see her hands are in her pants as well. I stand up and head to the bathroom. I take a leak and wait until I'm soft again. It's too uncomfortable to walk around with a hard-on. Once done with that, I walk back into the living room, making my way towards Jess. The pheromones start to affect me again slowly, but not crazy. I pick her up and slowly turn. I carry her to her room and lay her down.
I make my way towards the exit and leave her to sleep. I don't want to know what she is dreaming about. If it's anything like mine, let's just say I'd rather not think about that. I'm going to tinker with her gaming pod after she wakes up. I don't want to do anything like that while she is sleeping in the room. Waking her up in that state doesn't seem like a good idea. Those Arn Zael are crazy races. How does a society of advanced people such as them work like that?
They aren't human, so we can't judge them by our standards. To them, it's completely and totally natural. I relax on the couch as I make it back into the living room. This better not become a common occurrence. It's the middle of the night, and I have gotten a good amount of rest. I pick my laptop off the table and open it in my lap. I head to the many forums and start to browse, looking for any new and relevant information. I come across several pages of new discoveries, and I store them in my mind as I read through them all.
Most are guides and steps on how to gain exp and credits faster. The entire player base is still confined to Empyrian, but by the information in these guides and the calculations in my head. It'll be around a week before players all over Empyrian start to leave. I continue to scroll, and I see a question on the forum with many upvotes, but no one has offered a solution. It's a question regarding the reputation system.
I know some about it. I had a small reputation with the Kalarians when I helped fix the ships in the workshop. What was strange is once it occurred, I wasn't given anything about it, which means I'm missing another requirement to get a basic explanation on how it works. I answer what little I know from my personal discoveries and what I've deduced about the reputation system. I continue scrolling, and I start to get bored. I close the laptop and head to my room.
I'm getting on to see if Aegis has responded to my ideas yet. I'd like to get some flow of credits early in the game. If they don't want to give me any royalty clauses, then I'm just going to their competitor. If that doesn't make them agree, nothing will. My designs are brilliant and much more valuable than what's currently being built and sold. If Aegis does decide to buy the blueprints and pay me the royalty, I'll be able to fund so many of my own projects.
I get in my gaming pod and relax as the helmet lowers on my head. I close my eyes and drift into unconsciousness. After a couple of seconds, I'm loaded in and I'm in the same apartment I left. I head straight towards the computer and open the mail. I have one new email and it's from Aegis. I open it and begin to read, and I'm getting more and more excited as I do. This is the first step into my new obsession as a genius Primordium builder. It'll get even better when I get my pilot's license.
