Zou Yue glanced at Hary in shock. The timid looking guy had a really sharp tongue. He did not expect the old Murong to be tongue tied by simple questions like this.
'Maybe resorting to violence might not be the answer.. Lets act along,' Zou Yue swiftly sniffed. "i... my mother did not hate you grandpa.. She.... she was so sacred that you might hurt my father..." she sobbed placing her head on Hary's shoulder.
Everyone close to their ear shot gasped.
"is that true, mister Murong? Is that why your daughter ran away?"
"Answer us please. We have to know. Did your really appose of your daughter's marriage because of her lover's social standing."
"Mister Murong!"
The reporters caught on and pounded Murong yang with unending question.
Zou Yue wiped his eyes clean. 'He won't answer me if I ask anything privately. let's pressure him even more.'
Yue ran to him and held his hands, hiding his disgust. "I know you hated mum of her love affair but... why.. why did you abandon my sister?"
"Sister? there was a sister?" the media started to snap photos vigorously.
Murong Shao who was watching this, was shocked. "Was there really a sister, grandpa?"
Reporters gave way for him to come forward.
"Answer me grandpa, was there a sister or not?" Murong Shao whispered to him with a betrayed look on his face.
"Yes, there was..." Yue glanced at Murong yang. "Because the real Tian ai is missing. I am her brother who has come in search of her.," he changed his voice back to normal.
Murong yang scowled. "This is all a ruse. There was no brother. There was only one child. I gave her away silently. This girl is lying, Shao."
Everyone gasped
Only then did Murong yang understand his mistake. He unintentionally admitted to his fault.
His glaring eyes met the slightly watery eyes of that young boy. "You... let's talk. Everyone, the party is over. Please give us some privacy," he gestured for her to follow.
Zou Yue nodded to Hary, who worriedly held his hand.
"Don't be impulsive," he whispered before sending him away.
Zou Yue and Murong Shao followed the old Murong to his office.
"blasphemy! This is complete nonsense! What do you think you are doing!" he charged at Yue.
But Murong Shao stood in front of him. "Enough grandpa! Enough! he is just a kid!"
Zou Yue rolled his eyes. 'I am actually 28 mentally...'
"Now tell me, is he the second child that you threw away. Grandpa why? Why did you do that?" Shao mumbled with tears in his eyes. "Did... did you throw any of my siblings away as well? Grandpa..."
Murong yang stumbled back. "Shao.. I... I would never hurt your father like that. He was my treasure."
"Then my aunt wasn't?"
"That wrench got pregnant prior to marriage. Do you think I will accept that kind of outrageous behaviour!" he smashed a vase loudly in front of them.
Murong Shao moved back, pulling Yue away safely.
Zou Yue walked confidently and punched the old man right in his cocky mouth. "Wrench? you dare call my mother that? You bloody snake! How dare you?!"
The old man looked up in shock. "You.... your disgusting thing. a man dressed as a woman! this is revolting!"
"Yeah, I'm a guy, so what?" Yue pulled him up and hit him once again. "Because of you, I lost my sister!"
"You really are a man," Shao mumbled with a hand over his wide opened mouth.
"yes.. now get out. I have something intimate I need to talk with my dear darling grandpa," he gestured for him to leave.
Murong Shao glanced at his grandfather once and left the room.
"Now you... we have a lot to talk about," Yue pulled him off the floor and pushed him onto the chair. His hands swiftly pulled out the crossbow and assembled it with ease. He placed the arrow in place, ready to shoot.
He directed it right on the old man's crotch. A disgusting man like that doesn't deserve to be a man at all.
"Tell me, what do you know of my sister?"
Murong yang just glared at him.
"So we are doing this the hard way, huh?"
Zou Yue shot his hands without any hesitation.
"ahhhhh!!!! I am going to charge you with assault!!"
He just smirked widely, watching the man squirm. First, he did something very bad to his sister. second this man disrespected his mother's honour. There is no forgiving. Even if he killed him right here, his consciousness will not hurt.
"Go ahead do it." Yue placed the crossbow on his sweaty forehead. "Now can we talk my darling grandpa~,"
"I'll tell you! I'll talk.. Please.. Don't hurt me,"
"Good decision." Yue swiftly untied the ribbon around his thighs and tied the old man up in his chair. He checked his body and pulled out the phone or any devices he carried.
"Start talking. Why did you bring her here?"
The old man glared at him but started to talk. "After we gave her up for adoption, my wife was very regretful. She went on a mad search to find her."
"Only after she found out that she was adopted by a foreign couple did she calm down. Her sickness got better. But years later she went to visit her but Tian Ai was in an orphanage after losing her adopted family." He hesitated.
Yue gestured for him to continue by poking his crossbow.
"My wife wanted to bring her home. If THAT girl came here, the press will have a field day mocking me for my daughter's mistake. I—I did not want that,"
"So you destroyed her birth certificate, took her out of the register and made sure she was deported?" Yue glanced at him with his brows raise. Just taking once glance at this man made his blood boil.
"yes.. I did."
"After that, did you get in touch with her?"
"Hmm, once. She somehow found out about her birthright. She came to the company."
"She came to you!" Yue held his forehead. "And you chased her away?" his hands holding the crossbow trembled.
"Y—yes..." Murong yang glanced at the weapon in his hand in fear.
"What did you talk about?"
"She said that she was my granddaughter. I denied it. She left... I heard she was working part time in some shop,"
"What shop?"
"i..."
"WHAT SHOP?" Yue glared down at him.
"a small grocery shop in the outskirts of H city. She said she worked there and told me to find her when we accepted her," the old man gulped audibly.
Yue pulled a piece of paper from the man's table. "Write it down."
The old man wrote down the shop information. "There."
"That wasn't difficult, wasn't it?" Yue pulled out the arrow and wiped it on his shirt. "You can call the cops if you want, but let me tell you, in a month you will have your retribution. Even if the god doesn't punish you, I will come personally to kill you."
Yue walked out stiffly, controlling his rage. He just wanted to go back and finish the kill but something in him controlled the anger.
Murong Shao and an older lady stood there. He was trying to stop the woman from getting in.
Seeing him come out, the woman paused. "Tian.. Tian!" she ran to him and hugged him to her body. "You came back! You came to grandma!!"
Feeling her arm hug, Yue's tense nerves loosed up.
Zou Yue glanced at the grey hairs on the old lady's head. 'old lady Murong, you did the big mistake of letting go of my sister coldly... so why are you still riddled with guilt?'
"Let go," he coldly whispered.
The lady let him go, instantly wiping her cheeks. "Sorry, sorry, I did not mean to ruin your clothes. Oh my Tian.." she gently caressed his cheeks. "You look so beautiful. Just like your mother.."
Yue flinched away from her hand. On his hind sight he saw Shao lower his head. "Take care of her. And I have warned your dear grandpa the next time he crosses me his head will not be attached to his body." he walked out in rage.
