Chapitre 17: Chapter-17: First C-rank mission and getting Haku
(MC POV)
It's been a month since team 7 is doing only D-rank missions. Currently, it's the year literally EVERYTHING changes.
Year 63 after Konoha is established.
Yes, this the year everything in canon happens. I am extremely excited because of this.
Anyway, currently it's June and it's about time for the first C-rank mission of of team 7.
My Jonin promotion is going to be held in next month. After nagging Hiruzen repeatedly, I finally got the opportunity. Of course it took a lot out of me as I needed to manipulate the two elders, Homura and Koharu very carefully as Danzo was hell-bent on not giving me rank of a Jonin.
We all were currently in Hokage's office after catching Tora the ninja cat.
"So the next mission for Kakashi and Kazuya's seventh squad is... An errand to neighbouring town, to baby-sit...Harvesting potatoes-" Hiruzen said as he was cut off by Naruto.
"Nooo! No! No, thank you! I want to do something more interesting and exciting mission! Give us something else!" whined Naruto.
After some talk no jutsu from Hiruzen, he called in Tazuna.
"Whaaat? They are just a bunch of kids aren't they? especially the smallest one with an idiotic face. Are you really a ninja?" said Tazuna as he drunk so more booze.
"Those words are a lot coming from someone who is drinking booze in Hokage's office." I said as I smiled and placed my hand on his shoulder to pass some chakra and sober him up.
"Tch! I'm Tazuna, a veteran bridge builder. You'll risk life and limb in guarding me till I complete the bridge." he said.
We all dispersed to pack luggage for the mission.
I packed my stuff in a storage scroll too.
We arrived to the Konoha's gate in about an hour.
"Yosh! We're off!!" Naruto screamed as we left.
It was a boring walk. Well we did encounter a puddle of water out of nowhere when it didn't rain for a couple of days.
I looked at Kakashi and he nodded at me.
2 ninjas came out of the water puddle and targeted both me and Kakashi.
I just substituted myself out just like Kakashi.
Naruto and Sakura froze up.
Sasuke repelled the ninjas easily.
These two ninjas targeted Naruto and Tazuna.
Kakashi swiftly took care of them.
"Naruto don't move too much. These guys have poison on their claws and you were scratched by them. Get the poisoned blood out of your hand." he said as he was tying up these ninjas.
Naruto being stupid, moved to take his Kunai and stab himself on his hand.
I moved towards him and flicked away the Kunai.
"Are you stupid? Do you think stabbing on your hand is logical?" I said as I punched him on his head.
"OUCH! but what should I do then?!" he said.
"Just a shallow slice with some speed will do. Grab this bandage and tie it on the injured part for now. It is dipped in alcohol already." I said as I pulled the bandage out of a medic kit inside my scroll.
It is sort of an habit to store supplies as there were a lot of stupid people during my mission time.
His wound healed in no time because of Kyuubi but I still did it to not raise suspicion.
While I was doing this, Kakashi was talking to Tazuna about the falsifying mission.
"This mission must've been as expensive as a 'B-rank' mission." said Kakashi.
Tazuna then went on a rant on the Wave company as the Gato company was bought by me and was being used to done honest business.
Kakashi was throwing some glances on me.
"Hey don't look at me like that! It's the wave company! the WAVE company! not Gato! I already bought Gato company a long time ago! I also made sure to clear all the dirt away along with the owner of the company!" I said.
Tazuna Flinched and seeing this, Naruto and Sakura were a bit confused.
They threw me a suspicious glance too.
I punched them on their head.
"OWW!"
"OWCH! How can you even hurt a girl like this?!" Sakura said.
"These fists are unisex baby." I said as I kissed my fists.
"As for your suspicion, I own Uchiha hub and Gato company." I said as I dropped a bomb.
They both laughed.
I punched them again but harder this time.
"What is so funny huh?" I said as I smiled.
"Stop joking Kazuya-sensei! You cannot own that place! do you even know anything about it?" Naruto said.
"Ask Kakashi if you thing I'm lying." I said.
""Is it true Kakashi-sensei?"" both of them asked.
"Of course it is. Why do you think it has the name Uchiha hub on it? Only 2 Uchihas are currently present in the village. Who do you think is responsible for it?" said Kakashi in a matter of fact tone.
"""HEH?!""" Tazuna, Sakura and Naruto exclaimed.
"Enough chit-chat. Let's go now. We have a person to escort. Anyway Tazuna-san, would you like to talk about Land of Waves during this time? I'm sure you've heard the name of Uchiha Hub and Kazuya Uchiha. I am Kazuya Uchiha and I'm quite interested in investing in Land of Waves." I said to Tazuna.
"Of course let's discuss. I'm sure we can arrive at a good conclusion." he said as he literally had Ryo in his eyes.
After some more traveling, to land of waves, we were still walking.
Naruto suddenly acted up and threw a Kunai to a bush during our Journey.
We all arrived to the scene and saw that it landed just above a snow-white rabbit's head into a tree's trunk.
This alerted Kakashi as well me.
"Everyone get down!" said Kakashi as a really big sword came towards us like a shuriken.
"Kakashi of Sharingan and Kazuya the devil. It's an honor to fight both of you. I am Momochi Zabuza. You should just move away and let me take that old man's life and I just might let you go." he said as he was standing on hilt of Kubikiribocho.
Wow...I didn't think I'd be named a devil.
They make me appear evil when I am so righteous! I will sue him for this sort of defamation.
Seeing my face, Kakashi chimed in.
"What do you expect of the shinobi world to name you? Your ways are ruthless and outright cruel. It's a fitting name I'd say."
"It's called being efficient. I just try do whatever to make them lower their guard and strike where it hurts at the right time in most situations." I retorted.
"That's...That's what a devil does." he said as he deadpanned.
"..."
Everyone was silent.
"*Sniff* Cruel senpai. Let's just take care of him." I said as I made a fake 'I'm hurt' face.
'So shameless' Everyone thought.
"Stand back for now. I will take care of him. Assist only if needed." Kakashi said.
"Unfortunately, we won't be fighting Zabuza. Better luck next time! If there is next time that is." I said as I moved away.
I just went away from the battle field for the time being and watched the show.
Zabuza was standing on the river and performing a jutsu.
Team 7 was protecting Tazuna.
Naruto transformed into a fuma shuriken and with help of Sasuke, forced Zabuza to release the Water prison Jutsu.
I was chilling on a tree as I knew this fight wasn't worth my time.
My real purpose was to take away Zabuza's precious tool, Haku for myself. If I can somehow manipulate him, I can get a loyal to death shinobi at my side. He will be very useful to me in understanding Kekkei Genkai as well as Ice release too.
After he defeated Zabuza, A tracker ninja came in and hit some senbon on Zabuza's neck.
I came in and checked Zabuza's pulse and deemed him dead. Of course I knew he wasn't dead but I need to act for now. I cannot let him die here.
"You can dispose the body now." I said.
"I thank you for the opportunity. I was assigned to kill Zabuza." He bowed a little and left swiftly after taking Zabuza's body.
Kakashi fainted shortly after the exchange.
I picked him up and we all went to Tazuna's home.
I came outside the house and created a few Shadow clones.
We searched for Zabuza.
After a few hours of search, I finally found them. Haku was in a civilian dress collecting some herbs while Zabuza was alone, recovering from the fake-death in a small forest.
As Haku went away, I activated my Rinnegan and put Zabuza in a genjutsu.
He couldn't resist as I was extremely proficient in genjutsu now. A mere glance was enough.
I made him write a fake letter for Haku with some ink and his blood. This will include his heartfelt feelings as well as him confessing that he had a deadly disease related to his heart. Of course the Heart disease is fake.
It will inform him that he made a deal with me and now he is my tool now.
During this part, I made him talk about himself and Haku to get a rudimentary understanding of about them. He told me all about himself and his habits as well as Haku.
As I felt that Haku was coming back, I took away the letter from him and I ordered him to close him eyes and speak whatever I asked him to. He complied.
I deactivated my Rinnegan and waited for a few minutes.
When Haku came in and saw me, he went pale. As if I took away everything from him. Well not gonna lie, I sort of did.
"NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! MOVE AWAY FROM HIM!!!!" he said as he threw a senbon as well as shuriken towards me.
"Wait Haku! Listen to me!" Zabuza said.
I just deflected the Senbon and shuriken he threw towards me.
"Quite a feisty tool you have, don't you? Well I'm not the type of person to interrupt so chop-chop and say whatever you want fast. You're dying after all, my friend." I said as I lied.
Haku was stupefied as well as extremely confused.
"Haku...I am sorry. I cannot survive anymore. You see I had a deadly disease since my birth. I always hid it from you as well as the world because...I was....scared to make you worry. Listen to my final words, from now on, you are his tool. I have no use for you and I wouldn't allow you go back to your previous ways of life. I truly loved you....my son... Please live a good life...You suffered too much b...cause...f...me..." he said as his voiced lowered.
"No! NO! NO!! PLEASE DON'T LOSE CONSCIOUSNESS LIKE THIS! NOT RIGHT NOW!" Haku panicked as he tried to check his pulse.
I gave him a roundhouse kick on his shoulder from behind.
"Do not mock his pride as a shinobi and a father." I said in a cold tone.
I activated my Rinnegan swiftly and used Human path to pull Zabuza's soul out.
I got a lot of information from him as well as his life. My experience as a shinobi keeps on increasing exponentially when I pull out a good ninja's soul.
He immediately paled a little more.
I made some hand seals.
"Good bye, my friend. I will fulfill your last wish." I said as I used fireball jutsu to burn him body to ashes.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!" Haku screamed as he used a Ice jutsu to freeze Zabuza's remains but it was useless as his flesh was already burning and brain was destroyed too.
His eyes lost it's shine as he was now silent.
Not moving even an inch as he cried.
I left him alone for now.
After a few minutes, he came to me.
"I am ready...?" he said as he kneeled.
"Kazuya. Kazuya Uchiha." I said as he didn't know my name.
"I am ready Kazuya-sama. We can move now." he said.
"Don't be so stiff with me. And here, t-take this...letter Zabuza wrote in him end moments." I said as I threw a sad yet firm look.
He read the letter again and just smiled while a tear dropped from his face.
"I am grateful he encountered a great friend like you. Please take care of me, O-otou-sama." he said.
'Yes, yes- WAIT WHAT THE F*CK?!'
'FATHER?!'
I was in a inner turmoil. What did this bastard Zabuza even write?! I-I AM YOUNGER THAN YOU HAKU! THIS IS DEFAMATION!
"Give me the letter for a moment. I'd like to read it." I said as I took the letter and read it's contents.
(After reading the letter)
(A/N: which I am too Lazy to write)
'THIS BASTARD! WAS THE GENJUTSU THAT POWERFUL THAT YOU WOULD WRITE THIS SORT OF LETTER AS IF YOU ARE SHAKESPEARE?!' I thought.
The letter basically instructed Haku of a few things as last wishes:
1) I am his master now and utmost loyalty is required, on par with Zabuza.
2) I will take care of him and all this was a sort of deal. I owed Zabuza a favor.
3) He shouldn't worry too much as I was a trustworthy person.
4) Call me whatever Haku would call Zabuza if ever given the chance to.
In short, This bastard used Talk-no-jutsu on Haku.
I can't even ask him to change the title as it was considered a last wish. This may come off as an insult to Zabuza in Haku's eyes and reduce my plans to ashes.
F*ck you Momochi Zabuza!
*Zabuza Laughing from hell noises*
(A/N: Imagine Bruno from Jojo dying but It's Zabuza now and the color scheme isn't gold but blood red.)
"Haah...please don't call me Father. Try another one of the titles please." I said.
"S-So should I call you p-p-p-p-papa?" he said with blush on his face.
"HELL NAW! You can call me Father in private but definitely not papa. Please." I said.
"U-Understood. I shall be in your care, tou-san." he responded.
"For now, cut a small wound and spread your blood here and there. We need to create a fake fight scene here." I said.
He immediately cut a small wound on his arm and spread blood here and there. I just wrecked the surrounding area. This will not raise any suspicion. I also wore a few bandages so that no one gets suspicious.
"Come to me now and close your eyes for a moment." I said.
"h-huh?" he said with a blush on his face.

Calm down...
I hit him on his head.
"I am taking you to my private dimension so that you can hide! I AM NOT DOING ANYTHING LEWD TO YOU FOR GOD'S SAKE DON'T BLUSH LIKE THAT!" I said.
"H-Hai. I will make sure to not get any misunderstandings." he said but I could tell he is a bit confused.
"Haah...Kamui." I said as I spiraled away to my dimension along with Haku.
"Open your eyes now. This is my private dimension. I will visit you time to time here. Your job is to practice the ninjutsu for now. I will explain about my circumstances later." I said.
"Understood." he said.
"I'm going for now as I have a mission to complete." I said as I activate Kamui as I spiraled away.
I arrived to Tazuna's house's roof.
I went inside the house to encounter a tired Kakashi and team 7.
"There you are Kazuya-sensei! Where were you all day?! Do you know that no-brow dude is still alive and that tracker nin was fake!" Naruto said.
"Ah not anymore. I killed Zabuza Momochi but I couldn't kill the fake tracker nin. He escaped." I said.
""...What.."" Naruto and Sakura were really uncomfortable now.
"Why are you so uncomf- Oh. You didn't have your first kill did you?" I said.
""Y-y-y-yes."" Both said as they nodded.
"Well get used to it. Being a ninja isn't an easy job. Killing is something that is very common in the world. You will probably kill in near future too. Anyway, Kakashi-senpai are you alright? The sharingan is really holding you back. I suggest that when Jiraiya comes back, you request him for a solution. He can probably do it as I heard he is excellent at Fuinjutsu." I said.
"Meanwhile Naruto and Sakura, go to sleep. Let Kakashi rest for the week. Fighting a jonin isn't easy and he consumed a lot of chakra too." I said.
"Sasuke and I will guard all for the night." I said as I went outside to guard them.
After some time, I suddenly got a load of information. I think the Shadow clones I sent to defeat those thugs are now done with the job.
I checked the memories and found nothing wrong. All of them were as well as silent.
The mission was now complete. I just need to chill now.
I was awake whole night and I rested only for a few hours at most.
Today was really beneficial to me.
I was able to cut off that cancer cell called Gato and now I will own Land of Waves as it's boss. I even got Haku. I didn't think I could do it without a strong genjutsu.
I am the government now muhahahaha.
