Fang diligently studied the knife for some more time, bringing it closer. I let him do his study on it, as it was something I believed he would be an expert in. But I would still have to make sure of things later. With the way Channing had acted a while back, I was a little sceptical about everyone else's support.

It wasn't a lie that Channing was the first person who had won my trust, but with what happened near the police station, there were cracks in my trust.

When it came to Fang, I never trusted him to begin with, so it wouldn't be a surprise for me if he ever sneaks behind me and makes me hold another knife in my back. The worst was how he was getting intimate with me. I knew our wolves were in heat because they wanted to complete the mating process, but like hell, I was letting Fang do it. I'd take my chances of trying to kill him if he tried to kiss me next time.
