In the devastated Southern Empire, several citizens were seen working together to create an emergency refugee shelter.

Due to Evan's attack that killed the Southern Empire's Mages and the Red Abyss Monster that turned the citizens into zombies, the Southern Empire's citizens which previously had a population of 2 million inhabitants, now only left less than 10 thousand inhabitants.

Although there were enough survivors to restore the state of the Empire that had been destroyed, it was not effective as most of them were women, girls, children and the elderly. While the grown men and teenage boys had died at Evan's hands because they had all become mages of the Southern Empire.
