Chapitre 37: Woodbridge - Lucas's Encounter With Cordellia

Lucas took in the night view outside the window. It was quite chilly. His heart was even colder. He flipped over the pages of the album in his hand. 

In the very first picture, a woman with curly soft golden hair was hugging a slightly aloof guy who had a hint of a rare smile on his lips. The background was of the Woodenbridge higher academics library. The warm starlight highlighting their face made the photo give off a particularly nostalgic vibe.

Lucas traced the picture softly with his slender fingers. It was the end of the first semester in the higher academics. He met Cordellia on the very first day. He was immersed in drafting the business plan with his partners when she came up to him asking for directions.

She was glancing at her watch time and time again when she noticed that he wasn't responding. After a good few minutes, she walked right up to his seat, and tapped on his shoulders in front of everyone's astonished looks.
