Chapitre 138: Reconciliation

"If you are ok like you said then why are you suddenly acting out of character? I can't recall when you have last asked about my welfare not to mention abandoning your work just because you are worried about me. You are acting like a total stranger and this scares me," Jasmine voiced out her thoughts. Her sister who has always been mean to her since she can recall suddenly acts caring towards her, nobody in her shoes will not be surprised and suspicious at the same time.

"I heard that people who change suddenly are those who are on their deathbed, you are not suffering from any terminal disease are you?" Jasmine asked suspiciously.

"Jasmine, stop giving me that look because I am fine," Elizabeth replied. She could not blame Jasmine for overreacting. If she had treated her little sister with a bit of affection in the past she was certain that today's incident wouldn't have come as a surprise to her.
