"I changed my mind, I want you by my side."

Those words sounded soothing to her ears but she would rather not have him play her with his endearing words. Why was he even in her bedroom in the dead of night?!

'.. it was my mistake for not encouraging Bessie to sleep by me.' She mused quickly.

"Your Majesty, I already made up my mind to leave at the break of dawn." Lizzie told him, fiercely. 

The king studied her bodily gestures. She was clearly upset with him, also their privy talk yesterday did not end on a good note. This was majorly on his account. 

"Elizabeth.. should you be so adamant about your affairs?"

"What do you mean?" She asked, politely. 

"What were your intentions? Hm? What if something were to happen to you?" he brushed his hair briskly to the back, as he spoke, "Where were you intending to go?"
