Chapitre 121: The Kiss Did Happen - Part 1

Briceus began to feel unsettled even worse still with the momentary silence which reigned in the breezy air after the question he had just asked his maiden girl. 

He had not too long ago experienced a falling out with his great-grand uncle back at the battlement top. Already, that was enough to spoil his mood for the rest of the day but he had not allowed their little talk to pose that much effect on his mood even after he'd later dismissed the man from his sight. 

The fact that he had barely made it down from there only to get accosted by Oletha the minute he touched the ground floor was not a matter that he had anticipated. 

Without sparing a significant minute to go to waste, he'd begun his walk towards the maze garden to help Elizabeth to make her way out of there. How would he have known that Agatha would be by her the moment he finally found her? 

Humming a disapproving sigh, King Briceus decided on his words again;
