Titan froze when she heard this and looked at Mason confused. What did he mean by mom? For all she knew, Mr John's wife was dead and he never got remarried.

Even if she was his mother, what exactly was she doing in the pit with Titan? Could it be that the crazy woman is the ghost of Mr John's wife?

Titan placed her hand on her mouth. If that was the ghost of Mason's mother then how would Mr John react to it when he finds out?

Mason ran upstairs leaving Zagan and Titan to deliberate on what to do about the situation of Mason's mom on the lose.

Titan turned to Zagan worried for Mason. 'What do we do know? Mr John would be devastated when he finds out that his wife is still lingering on the Earth's surface.'

Zagan was not in the least worried about what John would say and was more worried about how Mason has been feeling all this while.
