Even though Theoderus Balzac had succumbed to the butler's persuasion, the aura surging around him remained untamed and only went feral as he fixed his eyes on the coughing young lady near his feet. His eyebrows tightened into a knot while he fought the urge to tear her dirty fragile body apart. Bloodthirstiness flooded his eyes with a taste of vengeance and it was bitingly cold down to his bones.

However, he had to curb this emotional eruption before he was confident of the enemy's next plan. Elliard was right. He couldn't fall into another trap. But, the frustration that had accumulated these past few days coupled with the lack of sleep, Duke Balzac was on the verge of losing control, or he wouldn't have moved recklessly just now.

Meanwhile, Butler Elliard and Head Knight Elijah could only exhale a long sigh of relief when the duke had decided to comply and let down of his hostility temporarily.
