That day was unusually warm. The sun embraced the land without being held back by the constant clouds, the warmth seeped through the air into the earth. Such days were rare for Esmeria, hence, a small brunch was organized for all of the guests.

Men and Women shared laughter and exchanged greetings as they gathered around the several round tables.

Nesrin was a little far as she watched a small kitten peacefully playing with a woolen toy. The young cat was a gift from Amber because she thought that Nesrin had been rather down lately.

A small smile formed over her lips. Amber had been considerate for her even though they no longer met and talked regularly.

The sorceress had been very occupied with her job, much more than what Nesrin did and for that reason, she left soon after giving her present.
