Chapitre 3: painful at breakfast time
Adriana took Evan from Dave and bathed him. After that, she put clothes on for him and gave him toys on the bed so he wouldn't run anywhere.

Adriana sighed, she felt disappointed that her cooking would not be eaten. her in-laws know that she is cooking for Mark on purpose.

Adriana was silent listening to the conversation between her sister-in-law and her husband. She was feeling a little hurt and also worried. She was afraid that her husband would turn away from her after meeting Maura. Sooner or later the girl will meet her husband.
"Finish your meal first and then talk, Byanca!" said Dave. she knew what her sister meant to make Adriana uncomfortable and hurt. He was also annoyed at Mark for not paying attention to his wife and children lately.
Sometimes, Dave feels sorry for Adriana. For him, his sister-in-law is the perfect wife figure but he can't understand why his mother and sister don't like her. They often don't care about Evan.
Dave feels that in this house only he cares about Adriana and Evan, compared to Mark as a husband and father figure.
