Chapitre 121: Confessions and Wishes

Hardulf strode along the path to the manor, leaves crunching under his feet. It was getting chillier now as the fall gave way to winter, especially since the cold season came sooner at the foot of the Mountain of Perdition. 

In the distance, dark clouds gathered. But the weather had no importance for Hardulf. He climbed the steps, went through the hall by the great white oak, and entered the living room. It was time to confess everything to Agatha.

A smile appeared in the corner of his mouth when his gaze fell upon her white hair. He was happy just thinking how light he would feel after telling her everything. As his lips opened to utter his secret, Agatha turned to him.

"Hardulf, I am delighted you have arrived. I was planning for winter and would like your feedback."
