An olive-skinned man with a narrow face and a softly shaped jaw approached Drake to pick him up. The latter brutally pushed away his hands. "I can get up on my own."

The stranger with small black eyes turned to look at the man who had ordered him to pick up Drake. Hardulf was the wolfmen's leader and they always did as he said. His broad shoulders seemed to get even wider when the leader put his hands on his waist, starting to whistle at Drake's resolution. "The perky lord has some balls. I give you that! Bledig, you can let him walk on his own for now."

The man named Bledig waited for Drake to get up and then positioned himself behind the red-eyed man to show that he hadn't anywhere to run. Upon getting to his feet, Drake Draconian looked over the group of ten wolfmen in a condescending manner.
