Chapitre 42: The Draconian Legacy

Childhood stories with kings, queens, princes, and princesses could come to life in reality, in the setting dominated by impressive buildings that witnessed the destinies of the royalties. The Golden Draconian Palace was one of the places where monarch life was at home.

Hope followed the king through long, endless corridors. At first, she was amazed by the grandeur of the columns, arches, and semicircular openings. But after a while, everything started to look the same.

Already bored after the long journey, she stopped like bewitched next to a wall clock. Her attention was only drawn to the fact that in every passageway and room they had been through so far, there was a clock, and each one was different.

The most common clocks there were the square and the rectangle, although this one had a whimsical oval shape to it. In general, frames were made of wood or metal; this one, however, was made of glass.
