Chapitre 178: I disappointed my Mother

Lilin's POV: 

My mother got up from the center of the pentagram and took a step closer to me. I wasn't able to stare directly at her fiery eyes. She has not been this mad at me since the day I told her that I failed in the quest of protecting the doors of the damned. 

"When are you going to learn your lesson? How many times should I have to tell you that love is your biggest weakness."

Even though I was in terror, I wasn't able to restrain myself from chuckling a little at the statements she said. 

"Mother, I am not in love with Aaron. And why would I fall in love with someone again? I am not that stupid!"

"If you are not in love with him, then what were you doing with him for this long?"

"I was just...." I stopped myself from saying that out loud. She caught me in her trap again!
