Meanwhile, Kimmy finally opened her eyes and quickly composed herself on the couch where she fell asleep.

"Gosh, what time is it…" she whispered as she looked at her wristwatch and her eyes widened when she saw the time. She immediately got up and walked to the door. She opened it and rushed out when she bumped into a hard chest.

"Ouch!! I'm sorry!" 

She looked up and gulped, meeting the icy stare of Cain that penetrated her insides.

*Thump *thump *thump

Kimmy's eyes widened hearing the loud beating of her own heart.

'Was it really my heart?!' she silently complained as she quickly stepped back, bowed down, and apologized, "Ah, sorry. I fell asleep."

"It's okay. You're probably tired. How are you feeling? The bump was a bit..." he asked, moving closer. Kimmy held her breath when his hand touched her chin, tilting her head up to meet his eyes.
