Chapitre 66: Chapter 66

I fought my way towards where the ache was calling out to me. Xavier, I'm coming, I mentally chanted as I continued to practically slice my very own path to him.

I didn't know how long it took me but it took me too long to get close to him. I was at the out edge of the fight now. I clutched my blades tighter in my blood stained hands as I crept into the first line of the forest.

My ears perked up as I heard voices. I followed the voices, my heart pounding loudly in my own ears. As I reached the voices I immediately took a step back. I was hidden from their sight but I could see everything.

Fifteen Spell Casters had Xavier in their clutches. A silver whip of sorts was wrapped around his body as they held him. He was hunched slightly over and when he moved and looked straight towards where I was standing I heard him growl.

I knew exactly what he was saying, leave. Like hell I'd leave him here. I searched his furious face and as I looked down I saw the wound that had caused me to come and find him.

It was right in the middle of this chest. Their was blood covering his entire chest. I visibly paled as panic started to set in.

"Well, well I finally have you exactly where I want you." That voice, that disgusting voice that has haunted me for months now. My eyes snapped in the direction of Cadmer as he slinked proudly towards Xavier.

Xavier didn't answer, instead he gave Cadmer one of the most frighting looks I have ever seen. Cadmer took a slight step back and I almost laughed at how pathetic he was.

"You think you're so strong, so mighty and yet here you are at my mercy. No, no, no, I don't have any mercy." He cackled like a crazy person and then continued, "Once I kill you, your werewolves will loose their will to fight and I will win this war. They will have no one, you have no one now."

I took that as my cue and stepped out from the trees that were shielding me from their eyes and said,

" They will always have me, he will always have me."

Cadmers head snapped around so fast I thought it would snap off, a shame it didn't. He blinked in surprise but then quickly recovered and then sneered.

"You!" He practically spat at me.

"Your going to die right alongside your pathetic excuse for a mate."

"I'm getting really tired of your threats." I said nonchalantly.

"And I've had enough of you getting in the way of my plans. For years I planned my revenge and then you came along and fucked up everything! I've had enough! This ends now!"

It happened in a space of a moment. His eyes glowed and then he thrust his hand in my direction. His power would have flew right at me if I didn't act quickly and push back at him with my own.

My heels dug into the ground as I fought to stay standing against the force of his power. I dug deeper and deeper into myself and "grabbed" as much of my power as I could and I directed it right towards him. He stumbled back and I didn't give him a chance to recover as I flung yet a another burst towards him. I walked forwards as he stumbled back slightly.

The wind was making my hair fly wildly around me. I sneered as I got closer towards him. Just then the other Spell Casters came at me and I dove into my mind and projected exactly what I wanted them to see, they immediately dropped to the ground. They were indeed dead but I was slightly exhausted from using that much power and so quickly.

My eyes were turning an even lighter shade of blue. I quickly looked at Xavier and noticed that he couldn't move as the silver held him down. His arms and legs were bound. Panic set in as he looked as if he was loosing consciousness.

I was too busy looking at Xavier that I hadn't noticed Cadmer get up and I thought he would attack me but in a heart stopping moment, he turned to Xavier and before I could try to pry his blocked mind open for the thousandth time he flung a blast of his magic right at Xavier.

Everything slowed down as Xavier was hit and flung backwards. It took a moment for my brain to register what had just happened and when it did a scream shot out from my mouth.

I rushed towards him blindly and when I reached his body I flung myself down and to his side. My hands roamed his body, the wound on his chest was wide open and his blood was soaking my hand as I tried to stop the bleeding. I looked frantically at his face, his eyes were closed and his breathing was slowing, at an alarming rate.

"Xavier, Xavier wake up, please!" I cried out as he remained still. "Wake up!" I shouted as tears began to fall from my face.

I screamed up at the sky in pure fury and then my ire was directed at Cadmer. He was still trying to recover from my attack but he was smiling at his triumph. I stood up and tuned to fully face him, my body shielding Xaviers.

I stared at him in fury and soon the earth began to rumble and the sky rippled with lighting. Cadmer looked uneasy as I began to run at him. I shifted in mid air into my wolf and together we landed on top Cadmer.

I couldn't get into his mind but I sure as hell can rip his head off. I tried to pin him down but he managed to kick my underbelly and then he blasted me with magic. I was thrown back but immediately shook its effects off and stood back up.

He came at me and once again I was hit and my wolf howled as we were flung backwards. My back hit a tree and I tried to get up again this time but I could feel my left ankle had snapped. Before I could even try to gather my bearings, he hit me with his magic again. I flew into the tree and literal stars danced in my vision.

I blinked and when my vision came back to me I saw Cadmer standing right in front of me. He extend his hand in my direction and as I lay helplessly against the tree I knew he would probably kill me with this last blow and suddenly fury unbidden and raw came crushing into me.

I refuse to be defeated. I quickly shifted back into my human form and got up, ignoring the pain. I screamed in fury and then my something deep and dark that has been brewing since my parents died began to unravel and come forth. It fulled me as I felt it slowly consume my mind, body and soul.

I hadn't noticed but my feet began to levitate and my eyes were almost white now. Cadmer shrunk back as I stared down at him, my eyes piercing his.

All the hate and anger that I felt towards him came rushing towards me and suddenly I wanted nothing more than to kill him and all the other Spell Casters.

They would all die, every last one of them.

I extended my awareness and soon I sought Cadmers mind out. It was still blocked but it was of no challenge to me now. I ripped through it and soon his screams of agony filled the night sky.

His body dropped to the ground and all was quiet, at last.

I breathed in the night sky, slightly reeling from the fact that our tormentor was dead but that wasn't enough.

I wanted them all to die.
