I feel a small twinge of guilt as I make my escape. I know Alaric is going to be furious and worried, but I know in my gut that I need to make it to Evanora as soon as possible. The selfish side effect of this endeavor being that I can get some distance from Alaric. After our hot and heavy encounter, Vicky’s interruption was a nice big bucket of ice cold water.

Speaking of hot and cold, I think, Alaric really needs to get his story straight. One minute he wants to rip my clothes off and the next he is pushing me away. My brain loses focus when he’s around and I keep giving in to my desire. It’s got to stop. I’m not a toy he can pick up when he feels like playing with me and then discard when he’s done.
