Chapitre 71: Hard Knock Life

 "Ren?! Ren?! Are you okay?!" Matt asked over and over, bringing Serenity back to consciousness.

 She felt uncomfortable, so she tried to shift her weight, but couldn't. As her vision cleared, Serenity realized that she was tied down to a chair. Her whole upper body was strapped down tight, and her hands were tied down to the sides of the chair's frame.

 "How do you feel?" Matt inquired with a worrisome voice.

 "Ugh.. Like I was hit by a truck. My head hurts, and my stomach does, too. What about you? Are you okay? What's with the cut on your forehead?" Serenity asked as she stared at the mark near his temple.

 Matt nodded; "I'm fine, I just didn't want to go down without swingin' a few times.. They just swung with bidents. Medeva wants us alive.. I don't know where they took our suits, or my pack and trident.."
