Chapitre 369: DNA

The two siblings separated after a long hug. Perhaps both needed the embrace to get back the bond they had lost.

It reminded them of who they used to be before the world pulled them apart. Jayden and Arya sat side by side facing each other.

Jayden took Arya's hand in his, his thumb occasionally rubbing over her knuckles. He gave her a sad smile before he spoke.

"You know, Jasmine was my first love. My first interaction with her was when we were kids. I liked her a lot but could only look at her from a distance. Sadly, I didn't meet her again afterwards.

Not until she turned eighteen and went to college. There, I met her with my group of friends. At the time, I wasn't a good person. The people I called friends were all monsters in human skin.

The guys were manipulative and controlling. The ladies were jealous of anyone who looked a tad better than them.
