"I am sorry!" The words left his mouth before he could control them. Levi bent a little and pressed a peck on Zane's temple. 

" I am sorry for selfishly sticking around and holding on. I apologize for putting you in such emotional turmoil. It must be hard for you. 

No matter how selfish I sound, I seem to get more attached to you by the day. So, I apologize, for the pain, I cause you and those that will come in the future. Just so you know, I meant it. I want to be there for both father and son. "

Zane looked at him hypnotized. He seems to be falling under hypnosis more often than he ever did in Levi's presence. He could still feel the warmth from Levi's lips on his skin.

Albeit his knowledge about the man's intentions, his heart foolishly rejoiced. 

"Why?" He asked, his voice coming out breathy.
