Chapitre 114: Her Story

Enzo stopped trembling after a while. Surrounded by the warmth of a human body, he no longer felt the darkness from the shadows that were his past. It reminded him greatly of Jasmine's comforting embrace. 

" Are you alright? What happened? Did my questions trigger a bad memory? I am sorry. I shouldn't have probed you like that. It was my fault. I am sorry. Watching a man as you shiver like that is quite disturbing. I.."

Enzo had no idea where his next action resurfaced from but what he did shocked him as well. His lips covered Aveline's to shut her up. She was nervous from her rambles. He felt uneasy watching her like that. 

Maybe it could be attributed to his newly found sense of sensitivity to others' emotions and how to respond to them. He wanted to ease the tension between them. The kiss that was intended to be a peck turned into a deep french kiss.
