"Mmm…" Lai Jiayi softly groaned. Her eyelids trembled, and a second later, the girl blinked. 

Hearing the soft groan, Yaya, who was sleeping underneath the girl's quilt, instantly shot up. 

"Jia?? You're awake! Are you okay, quack?!" The duck landed on Lai Jiayi's chest. He brought his face close to the girl's face and just stared at her with his round black eyes. 

Lai Jiayi's view was still blurry. The girl blinked several times again before slowly adjusting. The moment she opened her eyes, the sight of two pairs of big black eyes greeted her.

Her eyes widened in shock before a shout rang throughout the room.
