Chapitre 59: The Burst I
The next day, as if it is all within Adrian's plan, the number of martial artists in the surroundings increased. They were not present in the school, but they were disguised as normal people walking and eating in the vicinity of the school.
"It seems that they finally managed to learn the threat of an Enigma." Adrian muttered as he looked outside the window.
"I know that I am thankful that you decided to stay but that does not mean I have forgiven you fully. Also, is it true? About her being an Enigma?" Jihan stated.
"I do not need your forgiveness, but I will tell you just in case. If the occurrences here was not due to an Enigma, then we would have left. Your cousin is already investigating the strange phenomenon here. She would have dealt with the situation even if we were to pull out of the operation." Adrian stated.
"I get what you are saying but it still is not right." Jihan stated.
"No wonder you are blessed with talent for martial arts. A pure heart is key to mastering the Path to Immortality after all." Adrian muttered.
As the two were talking, three individuals suddenly went inside of the room and demanded to talk with Adrian. They were seniors in this high school, and it seems that they also have a bit of a reputation. It seems that one of the girls that Adrian scared yesterday was the little sister of the leader of the three.
"Where is this punk called Lugh!?" The leader of the three senior students stated.
"Is there anything that you need, senior?" Adrian asked to which the three gazed at his face. It was not a shock that they were stunned as Adrian's looks could only be described as beautiful to both genders. He is the reincarnation of the most beautiful angel described in all of history.
"Did you mess with my sister yesterday?!" The leader stated in a rather powerful tone to make sure that Adrian is threatened. He wanted to make sure that his aggression is conveyed.
Even if he did not vocalize his aggression like that, Adrian could clearly see it from the aura that the person was showing. A deep red color that only shows up on those with great anger but that should not happen easily. Adrian already knew that something was up the moment these three had intense hatred for him despite not knowing him.
"By mess, if you mean stopped them from bullying a girl then yes." Adrian stated clearly to the point that everyone in the room could hear.
Some of the onlookers suddenly averted their gazes when the leader of the three students looked at them. From the way that the other people are reacting, it seems that the girl he stopped yesterday was already famous for bullying other people.
"To think that the students know but they do not even show a sign of resistance means something is up. Seriously, all of you are just ignoring it because you are not affected. In the end, they will change targets if the Enigma girl is no longer here in the school. That would mean that no one of you is safe from the oppression." Adrian thought.
"You dare slap her! You do not even know that they were bullying that girl. For all we know, they were just playfully teasing each other." The senior student stated to which made the others chatter amongst themselves.
"Really? I slapped her? Do you have any evidence?" Adrian asked.
"You really did not slap her, did you?" Jihan whispered.
"Why would I bother touching lowlifes?" Adrian responded coldly to which Jihan is shocked.
The senior student then took out his phone and showed the picture of his sister with a red bruise on her face. Adrian took a look at the picture and suddenly laughed. He could not contain his laughter as it was obvious that the reddish mark is made using make up.
"It is fairly obvious that it is make up. If you are going to wrongfully accuse me of something, then make sure that is real." Adrian replied.
"You do not need to believe it is real. It has already been reported to the principal. You will have to face the discipline committee for your actions." The senior student stated as a threat, but Adrian just laughed it off once more and sat back on his seat.
"If that is all then you can go now. I could care less for a discipline committee. With my student record, I can go to prestigious schools in the world without problem. They are practically begging me to enter their school. Your threat is invalid, senior." Adrian stated in a mocking tone as he knew what the senior student wanted.
The three senior students knew that they cannot make a fuss but one of them snapped. He could not bear being talked down upon and launched a punch towards Adrian's face. The punch was easily blocked by Jihan, and he even squeezed the senior student's wrist to make a point.
"You should have let the punch me. I could at least beat them back and consider it as self defense." Adrian stated but Jihan just sighed. He thought that he already knew Adrian's personality, but it seems that he is still a mystery even now.
"Ouch! Let go!" The senior student shouted as Jihan has yet to release him from his grasp. When the senior student could be seen a bit pained, Jihan released his grasp, but his face looked menacing.
"You will regret this!" the senior students shouted as they retreated back to their classroom.
"Is that really fine to leave it just like that?" Jennie asked.
"It is fine. I already got the disciplinary meeting notice this morning. It seems that their parents have a big say in this school. I really do not care anyway as those people are just all bark." Adrian replied as he went back to gazing the outdoors.
