Hugo's travels came to an end soon. He took a hover ship back to Theta and from there then back home. There were two more days till the Re-ranking tournament and Hugo felt more eager to participate after his encounter with the Dune God.
He named the thing Dune God because of its nature and the fact that it wasn't a Rank SS monster. That was his first time encountering one, and he'd already learned several rules already. The first one was 'Never look at divinity.'
Even though that weird being wasn't actually a real god, just the fact that it could remove the moisture from Hugo's body was enough to refer to it as such.
He didn't tell Kiter, Akira or Gaia about the creature. He felt they didn't need to know for the moment.
'Ruki needs to know, though,' He said to himself upon arriving at his house.
She was balance. Where he made everything imbalanced, Ruki's presence balanced the odds. They were two sides of the same coin.
Just a small chapter. I'm still trying to adapt to school sh*t, so this will last for the most part. I'll try to write my chapters on weekends so your experiences during the week won't be disrupted.
