I tried to decipher what Charlotte said, but it just didn't make any sense to me. Darla on the other hand was laid back and actually happy to hear about her crush.

"I think you two would make an explosive couple, don't you think?." Darla asked looking at me. She was toying with me that was for certain, but for reasons I didn't understand.

"How did you get his sweater?." I asked, eyeing the cash register, trying not to stare at the sweater. She looked at it, and hugged it on herself, squealing like a pig.

"Well, we were walking home..." I cut her sentence short before she could utter any nonsense.

"West doesn't walk home, he has a car." I snapped at her, and plus, his health would hinder him from doing a lot of walking around.

"Yes, and that was why he offered to drive me home in his car." Charlotte continued, I openly glared at her. Did she think I'd be dumb enough to believe West let HER into his car?! No chance!.
