She pulled herself away slightly and ran her fingers along his stubble. "Is everything okay?"

He gazed at her deeply and took her hand to lead her away.

"Are you alright?" She asked again as he dragged her away. He was walking so fast that she almost couldn't keep up with his speed. She tried to slow him down but he only stopped when they arrived in his room.

He pulled her in for another hug and held her tightly in his arms. He sighed with a sense of loss before finally letting her go. She couldn't stop confusion from clouding her mind.

"Why didn't you tell me that Rian chose you as his apprentice?" He asked. When she looked up and met his eyes, she found that they were filled with anger. So he was hugging her so he would be able to control himself. Why was he so infuriated?
