~~~(POV: Nathen Opal)~~~
~~~(Location: Meditating, Dagobah)~~~
All my willpower over The Force is exerted as I try to control my pain and rage. Being back on Ryloth isn't and wasn't on my plans. The world is beautiful and lush. Showing a time before I came here and found my parents dead.
Before I cracked the world apart and left it as a dead husk.
After a single blink, I'm in front of an imperial black site facility. The place where I found mom and dad... My heart rate begins to climb again, and The Force screams in tandem with the chaos of my emotions. The world shakes, and I hold in pain.
I don't want to go through this again. Once is enough. It's not a real imperial black site. The Star Cabal wanted me to think that so I'd destroy The Empire. Eventually, hoping to turn my sights to The Jedi and Republic. It was a brilliant manipulation that would've worked.
If not for being who I am.
My body moves without my control, and I walk toward the entrance. I look down and notice I'm in my younger body. The exact age and appearance as when I first found them. I'm being forced to live through this again.
I throw out my hands again and pin the guards against the walls. Crushing them with a wave of my finger. Everything is repeating from that time.
I try to stop my body, but nothing works. No matter what I try and do, everything is just not listening to me. I turn a corner in the location, and a wave of security approaches me. I lift them off the ground and smash them into each other.
That's when I'm overwhelmed by the vision and sense of what's happened in this place. This is when I'm hit with my parents' repeated torture and pain. This is when I start running. The world and time slow down as I enter through a door.
There, on a couple of tables, are my mom and dad. My screams lash out, and the world shakes again. I rush over and unbind them from their tables. Holding my dad in my arms. He's not breathing. I push The Force into him, but it's too late.
As the tears rush down my face, I see my mom and bring her into my arms. Her heart is weak, and she's bleeding everywhere.
Her eyes barely crack open, and a small, weak smile appears.
"My baby boy... I'm so happy you're here... I've missed you... My little sand fox... Jorand... Our little boy is here..."
I place my hand on her wounds and try to heal her. But as they close, so do her eyes. That's when I feel her heart stop and her breathing end.
That's when I lose my mind.
For a second time.
"ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!"
~~~(POV: Nella Opal)~~~
~~~(Location: The Opal Ship, Above Dagobah)~~~
I look out the window as I feel the pain and sorrow of Nate from up here. Dagobah is shaking and starting to crack. It's the seventh day I've been waiting up here. I'm worried about my cousin more now than I have before.
He's going through some deep traumatic things. I wish I were there to help him, but it's too late for me to go down there now. I wanted to, but that much power thrown around would kill me.
"Please, be okay..."
I can't imagine what he's going through right now.
~~~(POV: Satele Shan)~~~
~~~(Location: Hyperspace, Flagship)~~~
"Ugh!!"
I double over in pain as I grip my head... This is a familiar and terrible pain... One that I've only experienced once before... That was when Nate's parents were found dead... His pain reverberated throughout the galaxy...
"Grandmaster!! Are you alright!?"
One of the Jedi aboard rushes to me and tries to help me. But my focus is on Nate. He's going through something right now. I don't know what it is, but I'm worried about him.
As I return to my feet, I have to take a breath. Processing what just happened. Wherever Nate's at, I hope everything isn't as bad as I think.
I hope Nella is okay. If she's been hurt or killed, this is a reaction Nate would have. I can't sense if Nella is alright from where I'm at. We're too far apart. We don't share the same bond I have with Nate.
But this pain is familiar... Identical... To when he found his parents...
