Dean asked the maid at the house to immediately mop up the slippery stairs. He walked up the stairs carefully carrying Calvin because he didn't want to slip like Lauren.

Calvin fell silent still imagining an unconscious Lauren with a bloody head. a few seconds before she was still with him to accompany him to school. He turned to look at his father who was walking carefully up the stairs carrying him.

"Daddy," Calvin called.

"Yes, son. You don't need to go to school today. we'll follow aunty Lauren after mommy gets ready," said Dean as he continued walking.

"Poor aunty Lauren," Calvin said in a hoarse voice and his eyes were already teary.
