The reunion with AJ ended up with me getting drunk of course, and Alice, my beloved Cousin had to come carry my drunk ass home.

Now I am facing the consequences of going hard on that whiskey.

I am experiencing the worst hangover in my life.

I couldn't sleep it off. I had to get my sorry ass to work.

"We need more investors in our subsidiary companies." The Chief financial officer, the head of the corporation's financial team said drawing me back to the boring conversation.

He has been going on and on about the same damn thing for the past hour.

The irrelevant stuff the financial team has been spewing has worsened my headache.

"You've made the same suggestion pretty much the whole time you've been here. Do you have any other suggestions? If not, this meeting should come to an end." I dismissively said feigning doing something else on my PC.
