Chapitre 83: We finally had the date

"We are finally having our date. I think I should be in the Guineas book of record as the man who got a yes to a date, but had to wait for three years to have that date. "

I burst into giggles pressing my palm to my lips before I laugh hysterically.

He took a sip of the milkshake that was meant for Kayden. His green eyes never left me and my eyelashes was in a blushing spree. I was melting faster than the ice cream.

The smile drained on his face. His elbows where prop on the table with his palms clasping his cheeks.

"Or maybe I should go on world record as the guy who stood up his date because he is a wimp. " He said sadly with a defeated look on his face like a soccer goalkeeper who couldn't prevent the easiest goal.

I tore my eyes away from him for some seconds. My lips pursed.

"Ernesto is one scary dude. Sometimes I felt that he was scaring the shit out of me more than protecting me as my bodyguard."
