Chapitre 73: Finally a confrontation with my mother

Immediately I walked into Audrey's apartment, a gun was thrust into my face. My heart abruptly seize a beat, and my breath choked in my lungs.

"Welcome to the party." The guy who is pointing the gun at me said in a thick accent I can't place my finger on.

"Tell your bodyguard to drop his gun or my man here is going to blow their fucking heads off." He cocked his head in a direction. I followed his eyes until they landed on Audrey and my mother.

I gasped in trepidation. My mother was trembling violently with her face raked with fear and terror. Audrey on the other hand had her fuck you face on. I could have let out a laugh but my brain prevented me from doing that as it send signals of chills circulating in my muscles.

I clogged a big lump in my throat. "Johnson lay down your gun."

He reluctantly did at a slow pace his firm gaze fixed on Audrey and my mother.
