Chapitre 67: The masquerade ball

The sky turn black more briskly than I anticipated as the night clouded the day and it was almost time for the Masquerade party.

Alice and I had a long day at the spa getting our skin pampered with the help of professionals. I feel good and lighter with my mind eased off the burden of my muddle thoughts.

My fear has dissolve into a fit of barraging anger towards my uncle for deciding to play a hunted house game with me to make me go crazy. May God help me cage my fury lest I unleash it on my uncle when I see him at the masquerade ball.

We are getting our hair ready by an A-list Hollywood hairstylist Alice hired. And as usual, she is the stereotype, the gossip queen, she keeps on rambling about the latest celebrity gossip and it bores me to death. She also keeps on annoyingly suggesting I should straighten my curly hair a bit, pumping more fuel to my anger. But Alice keeps on laughing at her lame jokes and I keep rolling my eyes.
