"But there are many children in the ward who've had lunch and taken their medicine. They can start playing with the toys now," Su Ning kindly explained as RuRu shook her head vigorously.

"Don't give the toys to the other kids," RuRu said, her lower lip trembling.

"I'd rather give the presents to Xiao RuRu as well but I can only give them to children who already ate."

"Wuwuwu," the little girl burst into tears in front of Su Ning, clearly asking for sympathy.

However, Su Ning stood her ground and merely looked on apologetically. Eventually, after several minutes of a standstill, little RuRu relented.

"If RuRu eats her lunch, JieJie won't give away the presents?"

"Of course!" Su Ning confirmed.

"Then… then.. you have to wait for RuRu to finish okay?" the little girl implored with big watery eyes.
