Upon reaching the summit of Mount Enzou, they saw the golden boat hover ominously before dropping several munitions.
"Boom, rumble, rumble, rumble, rumble—!!!"
The munitions fell and exploded violently at the top of Mount Enzou, causing a terrifying explosion!
"Is this a joke?" Rin and Luvia looked at the intense explosion, their scalps tingling.
However, Rin's keen eyes caught something odd. Despite the violent explosion, Ryuudou Temple, also located on Mount Enzou, remained untouched. It's like there's some mysterious force protecting it from harm.
As they looked on, a subtle golden glow enveloped Ryuudou Temple, and to their surprise, a faint image of a golden wheel appeared, hovering in the sky just above the temple.
Luvia and Rin exchanged puzzled glances, briefly questioning if their eyes were playing tricks on them. However, Astraea was very certain that she hadn't seen wrong. She trusted her instincts, and she had good reason to – after all, how could the eyes of God be wrong?
However, precisely because she hadn't been mistaken, her heart was filled with astonishment.
"Is this a joke? The one who reaches the truth of the world is actually here?" She was extremely amazed and couldn't help but say, "Is there something wrong with this world? Having a King who can alter the course of human history is already bad enough, but even someone who reaches the truth of the world appears here? Is there a serious problem with this world?"
"What do you mean by reaching the truth of the world?"
Astraea shook her head and said, "It's hard to explain. Anyway, that temple is very safe. If you're afraid of getting hurt, hide in that temple."
"Look—what is that?" Luvia pointed to the sky, her tone filled with astonishment.
Astraea and Rin followed her gaze, their eyes widening as they witnessed the pitch-black night sky suddenly illuminated by a golden hand silhouette. It was a sight they had never seen before.
Then, to their amazement, the golden hand aimed directly at the golden boat and swung downward with tremendous force.
"Boom!" The golden boat was effortlessly smacked like a mere fly, causing it to explode in a shower of sparks. The Heroic Spirit on board was sent sprawling by the blow.
Rin and Luvia were left utterly dumbfounded by the unexpected turn of events.
Astraea let out a sigh and quietly whispered to herself, "The Enlightened One..."
Inside Ryuudou Temple, Issei was flipping through a suspicious book in the Enlightened One's room while biting his fingernails and trembling.
The master, who had awakened from his meditation, had come to his senses!
The Enlightened One glanced at Issei and said, "One should cultivate a pure heart, free from attachment to worldly desires."
Then, he closed his eyes again.
Issei hesitated for a moment, hid the little book in his pants, and sneaked a look outside the room where the monks were cleaning. He patted his chest in relief and then lay back down, continuing to read the book.
...
"Boom!" The ground shook beneath them, catching Shirou's attention as he was busy tutoring Ritsuka with her homework. He furrowed his brow and turned to Miyu, who was tidying up her own work.
"Miyu, could you help Ritsuka with this question?"
She paused for a moment and nodded, "Of course, Fujimaru-nii."
He came out from the room, and Artoria approached him with a serious expression. "My king, this is...!"
"There seems to be some commotion. I'll go and see what's happening. You stay here and keep the house safe."
"Yes—!" she nodded in response, her expression serious and determined.
On Shirou's body, the black mud surged, and then two black wings emerged, carrying him into the sky, flying toward the source of the disturbance.
During his flight, he pulled out the Class Card and activated "Install."
A brilliant light enveloped him, transforming him into the youthful version of himself, Young Shirou.
Looking at Mount Enzou in the distance, Young Shirou let out a sigh and couldn't help but wear a helpless smile. "Really, why does this kind of thing still happen?"
Thanks to his second Noble Phantasm, he could now understand the whole situation.
This extraordinary ability allowed him to see through everything within its gaze. It didn't matter if it was a physical object, an abstract concept, or even the intricate connections of causality – nothing could escape his sight as long as it was within his vision.
As Young Shirou gazed at Mount Enzou, the power of his Noble Phantasm granted him instant awareness of the recent events that transpired on the mountain.
By connecting the information he knew, he could piece together what had likely occurred.
Gracefully, the black wings behind him gently carried Young Shirou down, setting him amidst the dense forest, a good distance from the mountain's summit.
As he folded his wings, he called out, "Hey, aren't you coming out, Gilgamesh?"
"Eternal King, huh?"
A young, pained voice came from beneath him.
As he looked down, he spotted a roughly five-meter-wide pit. From within the pit, a small, trembling hand reached out, accompanied by a helpless voice, "Could you give me a hand? That guy hit me way too hard, and I can't seem to get out of here."
"I can't believe this," Young Shirou chuckled with a wry smile, taken aback by the situation. Without hesitation, he extended his hand and firmly grabbed the golden-haired boy's wrist.
With a gentle yet firm tug, he hoisted the boy out of the deep pit, as if pulling out a radish from the ground.
"Ah... Finally. I almost felt like I was suffocating down there," the golden-haired boy sighed, rubbing his head with a slight headache.
Appearing a few years older than Young Shirou, around ten years old, the boy possessed a head of soft, golden short hair and a tender face accentuated by gentle crimson eyes.
He couldn't help but think that the boy had an adorable charm that could easily pass off as a little girl when cross-dressed.
And beyond any doubt, this person was none other than King Gilgamesh, whom Shirou had once despised the most. Now, they exchanged words daily on the distant Age of Gods through the Clairvoyance Chat Group, but here he was, in his child form.
But...
"Why aren't you wearing clothes, Gilgamesh?" He couldn't help but ask, noticing Gilgamesh's naked state.
In his current childlike appearance, Gilgamesh stood there completely naked, leaving nothing to the imagination. Between his legs, a little elephant swayed in the wind.
Gilgamesh chuckled, "You don't need to bother calling me Gilgamesh. Hmm... just call me Gil."
"I see. I'm just curious, Gil, don't you feel embarrassed being naked like this?"
Gil smiled and confidently replied, "No, not at all. The body of this king is the most perfect treasure in the world, and I feel no shame at all. Oh... by the way, even if you use your Clairvoyance to connect with my still-existing true body in the distant Age of Gods, you'll get the same answer."
Shirou raised an eyebrow, somewhat skeptical of Gil's claim. He decided to put it to the test and switched to Merlin's records, activating his Clairvoyance to connect with the Gilgamesh in the distant Age of Gods.
"What? I'm actually meeting my younger self. Who would have thought such a thing could happen?" King Gilgamesh, now connected through the Chat Group, couldn't help but burst into laughter. "This is truly a rare experience!"
"But don't you feel embarrassed?"
"Have you become mush in the head because you've become smaller? My body is the most flawless treasure in this world. How could I feel the slightest bit of embarrassment? You should feel honored to be able to see such a perfect treasure! Oh... I see now. Have you fallen for the perfection of my body, Eternal King?"
Shirou: "..."
What expression should he show now?
"Tsk!" Gilgamesh clicked his tongue in slight displeasure, "Quickly return to your adult form. There's nothing for me to discuss with your child self."
With no other option, Shirou had to deactivate his Clairvoyance EX.
Gil chuckled and added, "See, I told you."
It became apparent that Gil could perceive Shirou's communication with Gilgamesh in the Clairvoyance Chat Group.
This was possible because his present manifestation as a young boy represented King Gilgamesh during the period when he was renowned as a wise ruler. He possessed a similar BUG-like skill to Shirou's second Noble Phantasm, granting him insight into all things in the world.
Not only could he discern the Noble Phantasms and True Names of his opponents, but he could also see through any hidden truths.
In essence, it shared a similarity with Shirou's second Noble Phantasm in its ability to perceive all things. The only difference lay in the activation type and the effects they produced.
To draw a metaphor, "Sha Naqba Imuru" could be likened to script reading, where King Gilgamesh gains profound knowledge and insight.
On the other hand, Shirou's ability to see through all things resembles the discerning eye of a system from a web novel, granting him an extensive understanding of the world around him.
There's no direct comparison of strength or weakness between the two; they possess distinct scopes and types of abilities. Though in reality, the power to see through all things is just an additional effect of the Eternal King's second Noble Phantasm, rather than its primary function.
Shirou sighed, "Put on some clothes; otherwise, it's going to be awkward."
"What's the big deal? I'm not embarrassed..."
Before Gil could finish his sentence, he projected Rhongomyniad and fired a shot between Gil's legs, hitting the ground not far away.
"Sizzle~"
White smoke rose from the ground.
He chuckled, "See, I'm serious. Clothes on, or I'll burn that thing of yours."
Gil broke into a cold sweat and said, "I got it, I got it. Geez... You're really violent."
A golden ripple appeared in front of him, and he quickly stuck his head into it, rummaging for his clothes.
As Gil searched through the treasury for his clothes, he couldn't help but sneakily watch Shirou, who had the Holy Lance in hand and was giving him a rather intense look, as if he might use the light cannon to scorch his "little elephant."
Feeling a headache coming on, Gil shook his head and started searching for his clothes more seriously. "Ah... ah... Where did I toss them... Ah! There they are!"
Finally, he pulled out a beautifully crafted Sumerian-styled garment, mostly made of silk, and quickly slipped it on.
"Now then, let's have a proper chat, Eternal King. Scratch that, I should call you Fujimaru Shirou," Gil said, his crimson eyes shimmering with a faint red light.
"Sha Naqba Imuru, huh?"
Gil nodded, wearing a self-satisfied smile. "I really didn't see that coming. My older self, in the Fourth Holy Grail War of this world, chose the Eternal King as the prized possession. I have to pat myself on the back for that decision. Clearly, I knew how to pick the most valuable treasure. It's just a shame it wasn't recorder in my treasury in the end."
Gil looked somewhat regretful.
Shirou scratched his cheek awkwardly. "Uh, well, when you put it like that, it does make you sound like a real weirdo."
"What's so strange about it?" Gil said with a strange expression on his face. "If you want a treasure, you want it. Why hide your desire? That's just being dishonest with yourself."
After a pause, he smiled and continued, "However, it's no wonder my older self noticed that flame within you right from the start. After all, you're not only someone who was recorded as the Eternal King but also someone who managed to alter the course of Pan-History."
Gil seemed to be unaware of the fact that he was from another world. Shirou thought for a moment before replying, "You flatter me, Gil."
"No, it's not flattery," Gil shook his head and continued, "In terms of existence, besides the outsiders who have reached the truth of the world, there's no one else like you. It really sparks my curiosity - why do you possess a similar essence to that of the outsiders?"
Pausing, Gil turned his head and gazed towards Ryuudou Temple. "Perhaps, this is also the reason why that outsider has appeared here."
Suddenly—
"Thud, thud, thud!"
The ground beneath them trembled, and a colossal black arm burst out from the nearby mountaintop, reaching menacingly towards Young Shirou.
However, Shirou remained surprisingly unfazed. He casually twisted his wrist, and Rhongomyniad responded by gathering dense magical energy within. Then, with a resounding "boom," a starlight cannon was launched towards the approaching black arm.
Seeing this, Gil quickly raised his hand, summoning golden ripples that materialized into multiple shields before the black arm.
Yet, despite his efforts, one by one, the starlight cannon tore through the shields with unwavering force. Its momentum remained unstoppable, and it collided with the black arm head-on, completely obliterating it in an instant.
"Oh, that spear is indeed hard to resist. It's a shame. I had hoped to chat a bit longer with you, but my other half has already recovered," Gil sighed with regret.
Shirou put away his Lance, "Are you going to fight me, Gil?"
"It seems inevitable," Gil said, looking troubled. "Even though that outsider knocked me out of my main body, it didn't manage to destroy my other half. And my other half is dead set on obtaining the Holy Grail, no matter the cost."
Pausing, Gil gazed at him and asked, "The girl from the parallel world is with you now, isn't she, Eternal King? I believe her name is Emiya Miyu?"
"Yes, Miyu is with me."
"Then be careful. While I haven't chosen sides, my other half's goal is her, making her my target as well."
"Are you sure you want to fight me? It might hurt your pride, I don't think you are my match right now."
Gil scratched the back of his head, "You're underestimating me, and that makes me a bit angry. By the way, I can also call upon Ea if need be."
"But you can't fully unleash its true power, can you?" He pointed out.
Gil chuckled, "Fair enough, but the same holds true for you. Right now, you can't fully unleash the true power of Rhongomyniad either. We're evenly matched, so don't think you're in a position to laugh at me."
"And, sneak attacks won't work on me," Gil snapped his fingers, and a large shield appeared beneath his feet.
Almost at the same moment, a evil arm emerged from the ground beneath Gil's feet, slowly corroding the shield he had summoned. However, it provided Gil with enough time to make his escape.
Shirou showed a helpless smile and said, "My magical energy drains too fast. If possible, I'd prefer to conserve it since I still need to be ready for any potential enemies."
Just then, a chaotic voice echoed from the mountain forest behind Gil, calling out, "Aaah, Fujimaru... Shirou...!"
A colossal black hand rose like a bladed weapon and viciously swung toward Shirou.
Shirou's evil surged within him, giving rise to two colossal evil arms hovering above him, crossing each other in an "X" formation.
The three massive arms clashed mid-air with a muffled "thud," resulting in an explosive shockwave that rippled in all directions.
The gust of wind from the explosion sent the surrounding trees flying away.
Gil chuckled, "It seems my other half is very obsessed with you, Shirou. More so than the girl from the parallel world. He now wants to claim your eyes as his own. Be careful."
"Seriously, why is everyone so obsessed with my eyes?"
As the gigantic arm loomed over him, it suddenly sprouted several slender little hands, all reaching for his eyes.
"Wait a second, isn't this my move?" He couldn't help but comment.
Gil smirked, "Your move is mine now!"
Evil surged, and two evil arms also stretched out, each with several evil hands, swiftly tearing off Gil's little hands that had grown from the gigantic arm.
With a swift motion, he swung the Holy Lance, and the starlight cannon acted like a whip, cleanly severing the arm. But at that moment, another arm shot out, snatching Gil and yanking him into the depths of the forest.
"Roarrrrrr——!!!"
A bone-chilling roar erupted from the peak of Mount Enzou, shaking the entire forest to its core!
Suddenly, a grotesque and blackened giant emerged from the summit of Mount Enzou. It towered at about forty meters tall, possessed eight arms, and had eight eerie eyes. The creature was pitch black and bore an uncanny resemblance to the ghostly spiders from ancient legends, radiating an aura of despair and horror.
Atop this monstrous form of Gilgamesh, the boy himself appeared, covered in a menacing black armor.
Gil displayed a faint smile as he spoke, "My other half does seem rather unsightly, doesn't he? This appearance is a result of its obsession with the Holy Grail. But now, I find myself even more interested in your eyes, Shirou."
"Fujimaru... Shirou...!" The grotesque Gilgamesh, resembling a ghostly spider, let out a murky roar as it extended its palm menacingly towards him. In response, Shirou swiftly fired a backhanded starlight cannon, but Gil reacted quickly, producing a shield radiating divine light to block the attack.
"Boom, boom, boom, boom——!"
The blackened spider slammed its palm down with tremendous force, causing the earth to crack under the impact. Fortunately, he had anticipated the move and managed to dodge away in time.
Gil gazed up at him with a confident smile, "This is the Shield of the Gods. Don't think an attack of that caliber can penetrate it."
He gave a helpless smile and activated his "Clairvoyance EX," connecting with the distant Age of Gods world where the living King Gilgamesh resided. He asked, "King of Heroes, don't you want to see your current, uh, unique form?"
King Gilgamesh, busy with state matters, almost slammed his clay tablet on the ground in annoyance, saying, "I'm dealing with important state affairs. Why are you showing me this, Eternal King?"
Pausing, King Gilgamesh snorted and said, "I've already seen this scene through Clairvoyance. It's true that even though it's just a duplicated record of me, he still retains such desire and self-awareness. However, it's infuriating to see my perfect appearance being defiled like this. Hmph! That damned Calamity Doll! Eternal King, I approve. Destroy this half of me, which has been contaminated by Pandora's corruption!"
Shirou replied nonchalantly, "Even if you didn't say it, I would have done it anyway. I just wanted to see what kind of expression you would make when you see your own ugliness."
King Gilgamesh replied with displeasure,"Hmph. You've managed to become even more irritating after shrinking in size. Truly a mongrel."
At that very moment, Gil waved his hand, causing the grotesque half that resembled a spider to sprout two elongated gigantic arms, reaching out towards Shirou in an attempt to grab him.
In response, wings of evil sprouted from his back, and he soared high into the air, deftly avoiding the oncoming attack.
Gil's impressive arsenal was wide open, and countless Noble Phantasms took the form of a sword rain, relentlessly bombarding him.
Undaunted, he turned his wrist, and Rhongomyniad followed suit. The starlight cannon moved in a whip-like motion, expertly sweeping away all those incoming Noble Phantasms, completely destroying them.
However, as King Gilgamesh observed this scene through his Clairvoyance, he noticed something that made him frown, "Those wings... so that's it... so that's it, Eternal King! You are Caster... You are Caster! How dare you hide this from me for so long?"
King of Heroes voice was seething with anger.
He responded, "It's a complicated matter to explain."
"Hmph!" King Gilgamesh said furiously. "You, a mere mongrel, have been secretly laughing at me all this time, haven't you?"
"No, I don't think I'm that perverse of a person."
Just then, Gil brandished another massive sword towards him, his expression displeased, "You're currently in battle with me, yet you're distracted and conversing with the living me. Do you really hold me in such little regard, Fujimaru Shirou? Are you trying to make me bring out Ea to deal with you?"
The wings of evil behind him flapped swiftly, allowing him to dodge the swing of the giant sword. "That's not the case. I never underestimate my opponent."
Gil's expression eased slightly.
However, just as the tension seemed to lessen, the grotesque half of Gilgamesh, the blackened spider, stretched out its hands menacingly towards Shirou, attempting to grab him.
"Fujimaru... Shirou!!!" The spider giant roared in a chaotic frenzy, lunging menacingly at him.
His evil surged, creating two giant arms that firmly grabbed hold of the spider's limbs.
Through his Clairvoyance, King Gilgamesh observed the scene and couldn't hide his annoyance, "Eternal King, you mongrel! Hurry and return to your adult form. I have nothing to say to your childish form!"
Gil let out a mischievous chuckle and said, "Pay no mind to him, Shirou. Stay focused and don't let yourself get distracted, or else my other half might decide to have some 'fun' with your eyes."
The blackened spider let out a haunting cry, calling out, "Fujimaru... Shirou!"
Shirou couldn't help but let out a tired sigh. Why did all three versions of Gilgamesh have to be so troublesome? Dealing with them was giving him a headache.
"Enough of this noise! It's beyond annoying!" Shirou closed his [Clairvoyance EX], and then he activated his third Noble Phantasm, [This Is My Evil], which engulfed him, transforming him into a colossal giant standing over 40 meters tall!
Illya rushed over from a distance, holding Sapphire, and was completely bewildered by the sight of the two giants battling on Mount Enzou.
"What... what is that? Are those monsters?" she wondered, trying to make sense of the scene before her. "But where's the Ultraman?"
