Chapitre 437: Flirting.

Opening her eyes, she waited for the pain to overwhelm her again. A minute went by, then another and another but nothing happened. 

Only then did she let herself breathe properly. Her body felt as good as new. She let herself ponder over the events of the previous days. 

As she looked around, she noticed the hand holding her in place. The familiar scent that had become a source of comfort in her darkest times. 

She had the heart to hate the man for putting her in the state she had been in. However, she wasn't. She felt grateful that he had stayed by her side. 

He had listened to her nonsensical complaints when he didn't have to. Let her cry in his arms and wipe away her tears. 

She couldn't remember the last time she felt cared for this much. It was a foreign feeling. Laying in bed with her naked body glued to his fully clothed one didn't faze her.
