Chapitre 368: Sinners

Yasmin woke with a start, head pounding heavily. A hand rested on her shoulder to calm her down. Looking to her side, she met her mother's concerned gaze. 

"Mother? What happened? Why are you here? Where am I?" The Queen's sadness was apparent. The cause of her discomfort was evident as she avoided her daughter's gaze.

To the entire realm, she was royalty. A Queen respected by all. If not for her allegiance to the reigning Queen, she would have paused a threat to Malaika. 

At the moment, she wasn't a Queen. She was just a mother who was worried for her daughter. As Yasmin tried to take in her environment, it all came back to her. 

The explosion, her state of insanity and the heavy weight of guilt in her heart. It all comes back bombarding her brain. Recalling the voice that had revealed the truth to her, she began to tremble.
