Chapitre 356: Close call

The sound of several approaching footsteps could be heard. Samir panicked. His senses were more alert than before.

For the entire time he stayed watching over his people, he kept hoping that no one would visit. From the look of things, his luck had finally run out.

He rushed towards the bed desperately hoping for a miracle to happen. The only one he could physically touch was Malik.

Without thinking through his action, he used the energy he had initially reserved for Samira on the angel. It was quite risky since he had no idea the reaction it would have on him.

A bolt of lightning-like energy was sent at the man, making his body shake in its unconscious state. One, two, three, it kept going on until Samir was heaving from running out of energy.

His forehead was drenched in sweat. Finally, he plopped down resigning to their fate. The worst that could happen was for his sister and Malik's cooperation to be exposed.
