Chapitre 348: The Set Up

The midwife cried silently as she watched over the sleeping Queen. Nothing was right about the current situation.

How is she supposed to snatch a mother's happiness from her just to save her own? It felt so wrong. If she couldn't let her grown-up family get hurt, wouldn't it feel a thousand times worse for Juweyriya?

She made a vow then as her old experienced hand caressed the woman's hair. No matter what happens, she will survive this ordeal. She will live through until such a time comes when she would be able to expose the truth to the world.

Until then, she will play along with them. She looked at the woman one last time before she managed to compose herself. Once she was sure she looked normal enough, she carefully woke her from the trace.

Juweyriya woke up with a pounding headache. As her eyes adjusted to the brightness of the room, she panicked a little while taking in the unfamiliar environment.
